[HEADING=1]Welcome to Omega.[/HEADING]

So you're interested in joining Aegis? Well, to give a summary, Aegis is a mercenary company based on Omega. It's lead by Verahl, a Batarian, and ex-Lieutenant of Aria. Deciding to retire from her employ, Verahl created the company, with a focus on running security for stores and warehouses on Omega, on top of any alternate work that could be found. Currently, Aegis has found itself its own nice little niche that it has created, earning protection money off of a small district on the bottom half of the station, mostly from the few night clubs and bars in the area, in addition to a marketplace and the housing surrounding it.

Currently the RP will be set either shortly before or shortly after the start of Mass Effect 2. The exact time has not been made certain yet. If you are all interested in joining, please post on this thread, or shoot me a PM, expressing your interest. Attached underneath is the character sheet we will be using for the RP.

It's good to be back on Omega.

Name: Marcus "Raven" Flint

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Age: 39

Appearance: Short Black Hair with beard, numerous facial scars. Wears red and black armor with Raven logo along the back. Armor is damaged and dented in numerous place from gunfire.

Class: Vanguard

Subclass: Nemesis

Powers: Lift, Throw, Barrier, Charge, and Nova

Reason for Joining Aegis: To gain allies and a bit of safety if his past came to rear its head.

Pre-Service Record:
Born into a planet on the fringe of citadel space, Marcus lived a normal life until the age of 8 when he was exposed to dusted eezo from a shipping accident. Enabling his biotic ability, he was conscripted into the biotic academy at Jump Zero at the age of 10. Surviving the intense mental and physical conditioning that came with being a biotic, Marcus joined the Alliance at 17, faking his age to ensure his early enlistment. Fast tracked through the military because of his biotic ability, he reached the rank of captain at 21 and joined Alliance Black Ops at 22, taking on numerous missions with his squad until the incident that caused him to leave the Alliance. What was to be a simple mission to eliminate the head of a terrorist cell turned into a FUBAR when his commanding officer ordered the death of the civilians in the surrounding area for supposedly aiding the cell. Unable to reconcile the order, Marcus went rouge during the crossfire and vanished into the vast expanse of space.

Once in the outreaches of Council Space, he took the only career path that was available to him and became a mercenary, working back and forth between the Terminus and on rare occasions within Council Space. After two years into his mercenary career, the Citadel took an interest in the company that Raven was a part of. Assigning a Spectre to handle the situation, they were confident that the situation would be resolved.

The Spectre eventually found Marcus and the company on a human colony at the edge of their space. They had a long drawn out fight, each taking many blows. After eliminating most of the company, the Spectre finally gained the upper hand on Marcus, but fortune wasn't in their favor. A damaged gas line to the building they were in exploded, causing the building to collapse. When he came to, Marcus was the only one able to pull himself from the rubble. Looking back he couldn't see the Spectre. He stumbled towards a local hospital, and demanded at gun point that the doctors help him. After some brief surgery, closing up of most of his wounds, and enough painkillers to numb almost every sense Marcus had, he fled to the spaceport. He had no idea where to go, but when he saw a cargo ship that was listed as on the way to the Terminus System, he managed to stow away there, and escape Council Space.

Arriving within the Terminus, he found work partnering with a Drell Assassin and adopted the moniker "Raven" in an effort to leave his past behind him. Together they were able to forge a prosperous mercenary group known as the Crimson Wraiths. For several years, life was good for him until the members of his group got greedy and arranged for their two leaders to be removed from their positions. Upon returning to base, he found his best friend dying and the people he had trained out for his blood. Going blind with rage, he massacred the members that had remained on base over the course of several days, satisfied that his friend had been avenged, he burned the base to the ground and gave his friends body to the deep.

Once more on the run, he moved to Omega and took up work with the Aegis Protection Firm.

Psychological Profile:
The events of his life have left Marcus very protective of the men under his command and as such he will go as far as required to protect their lives. He is ruthless in his work and quite efficient at closing his contracts.

Notes:
Marcus is wanted for the murder of an Asari Matriarch, the death of the council Spectre sent to kill him, and the remnants of the Crimson Wraiths.

He is proficient in the use of explosives, sniper rifles, shotguns, and heavy weapons as well as his biotics.

Additionally he carries a large bowie knife with him.

Name: Sal'rena Nar Hadran.

Gender: Female

Race: Quarian

Age: 23

Appearance: Sal'Rena stands at 155cm. Her suit is a deep red and black.

Class: Infiltrator.

Powers: Tac-Cloak, Incinerate, Sabotage, Sticky Grenade's.

Pre-Service Record: Sal'Rena was born on the Qurain military ship Hardran. Her mother was a member of the Qurain Marines, her father an Engineer. When she got her first suit, she began to learn what was expected of a Quarian marine. She trained with the other Quarian children learning everything that was required to serve in both the flotilla and, more specifically, as a Marine. They had many teachers. Sal'Rena's father taught them the basics on how to maintain the various ship's in the fleet. Her mother, and various other marines drilled into the use of various weapons and tactics. Sal'rena her self excelled both at getting behind enemy lines to obtain information and getting further away to pick enemies off at a distance.

In between lesson's, her parent's would tell her stories, if only to pass what little free time they had. Her father would tell her stories of remote colonies, where the prejudiced against her people was wearing thin. Her mother would tell her of the occasional Geth attack, or a mission close to the veil. Most of all, they would tell her tale's that had been passed down from their parents, their before them; tales of Rannoch, tales of the Geth. They both believed, while they would do anything to regain Rannoch, that the hostilities between the Geth and Quarians could end peacefully. These tale's inspired Sal'Rena, soon she too wished for peace between the two. But that wish would have to wait. First she needed to complete her pilgrmage.

A month before her pilgrimage she began searching the Extranet for any way to bring something back that would help her people regain the peace she sought. She found many options; companies that produced Medicine, part's, older ship's they could strip or re-purpose. But all these cost credits. Whe she departed, she searched for anyway she could to earn the credits, but few would hire a "suit-rat" as they called her. A month into her pilgrimage, she found herself buying a ticket off the small colony she had started on to the only place she could afford.....Omega. It was the only place she was afford with what little credits she had saved up from doing what little chores she could around the colony.

Once there she began the search for employment, once again few would hire her. Tired of looking for work with tech, she tried a new tactic, Try her hand at mercenary work.

Psychological Profile: Becasue of her parents stories, Sal'Rena has formed the belief that every sentient being deserves to be treated with a certain amount of respect, even the Geth. She's determined to reach her goal of gaining something of use for the flotilla, willing to do anything if it means she can provide for her people. Sal has learned in her time away from the flotilla that frankly some people just aren't worth the time to try and reason with.

Reason for joining Aegis: Sal'Rena joined on with Aegis for the sole reason of earning enough Credits to help fund her pilgrimage. It was one of the few companies willing to hire her and still pay a rate she was happy with. Weather or not she'll stay after obtaining enough money she doesn't know.

Notes: Sal'Rena, or just Sal for short, uses the M-6 Cranifex, M-9 Tempest, and the M-97 Viper.
Edit: Okay wow, after going over it she needed quite a bit of work. Hopefully that will fix any problems I had.

Since I can't remember how Serina was going to be played, I'll start anew! And with one of my preferred races. And since I know I can't do a Drell without cloning Thane, we get a Sali'
Name: Ishk Valench

Gender:Male

Race:Salarian

Age:29

Appearance: green skin,a bit of gray mixed in giving him somewhat of a pale/off look, around his eyes and mouth they are slightly darker, giving the illusion of him always having a dirtied face. His eyes are also a dark green, though he only sports a single horn, with the other one not looking that great either, and resembles a broken pillar, chips broken off and a 2 cm piece missing from the remaining horn.

His armor is of the highest quality, but other than that, completely utilitarian, a standard sandstone red and gray paintjob, some of the better camouflage on Omega simply because of that, and it's well-maintained, as all of his things are, though he makes sure it reflects as little light as possible. He has refrained from emblazoning the symbol of Aegis onto it for a few reasons, the foremost of which being he doesn't consider himself one of them until he is given a job and follows it to completion, and his STG training of never even leaving any real indication to who sent him, even should he be killed.

Class: Infiltrator

Powers: Tactical Cloak, Disruptor Ammo, AI Hacking/Sabotage(depending on if we're using ME2 or 3 designations), Incinerate

Pre-Service Record: Jaeto Nox Floerince Aedira Valench Ishk was born as any other Salarian was. While he was never the most scientifically inclined, he found his one niche in remote hacking and computer programming during his formative years before enlisting and after a year of consistent and excellent marks in accuracy and a cold demeanor. Assigned to an STG team, all of his files are either classified, or "don't exist", but judging by his behavior and skill set, and of course the fact that he's a Salarian(and seriously, who completely trusts one of them?) anyone with any amount of sense can surmise that it involved the standard STG work. Infiltration, hacking, assassination, surveillance, etc.

In 2184, he was a part of the STG team under Captain Jaranche in the Terminus Systems, and though there was talk of a Human Spectre, it was peripheral news to their objectives. They had been sent to find the backers of a particularly violent and expensive raiding party on the outskirts of Salarian space. Having found him and tracked him to his planet, they sent Ishk and two others down on the planet's surface to scout and, if possible, get rid of him should the opportunity arise. Unfortunately, while waiting for one of his team mates, he were captured and brought to the Backer's palace, only to find it to be a Krogan who'd risen in rank and had a particular distrust of Salarians. They tortured the two of them, Ishk only barely alive when the place was infiltrated and the Krogan disposed of(after a quick transferal of funds to a particular account). He was released from the STG barely a year later, discharged. Ishk fled to anyplace that could use his skills, Omega just happened to be one of the best markets open to anyone.

Unfortunately, the Archangel and his gang of misfits systematically destroyed every source of income he could tap, since their boldness had caused many around the station to tracking down and through any kill on the station, causing more than a few people to balk at the concept of hiring a killer anymore and was forced to go from being freelance, to joining up with a merc band to make end's meet. The band eventually turned on each other after Archangel's disappearance and assumed death, with Ishk an Asari and two Batarians all that was left of the formerly fifteen man squad. With the Big Three no longer having a presence on the station, he opted for what he felt was the best move, join the up and comer, Aegis. They paid enough, let him kill, and room and board in a secure bunker was something he'd missed while being a operative/gun-for-hire as well.

Psychological Profile: Cold, calculating, and slow, a strange trait to find in a Salarian. Each movement is sparing and almost lethargic, but underneath Ishk's seemingly slow exterior, he's really the same as any other member of his race, speedy, smart, and naturally sneaky. And though he can move as fast as any other, he just prefers to take things slow, steady, and make everything he does the only times he does it. He talks at the same speed as any other race except his own, it's just his way and a peripheral reason for his discharge. He likes killing, and if he can get paid doing it, all the better. He has a habit of humming under his breath from time to time as he takes his constitutional, mostly popular ditties of various cultures and races, ranging from basic Salarian things to a couple of Elcor scores.

Reason for joining Aegis: One war is the same as another, so long as he gets paid and is allowed to kill people without any red tape, he's happy. He sees Aegis as something he can do for a few years before falling off the grid completely, and reemerging with a name that can grab him more creds per job. Or dying, that's good too, not like his family ever needed him for breeding contracts anyways.

Notes: Not particularly fond of government agents, a bit of a grudge against the Krogan, but only because of personal experience and nothing he cares enough to pursue unless one of them pushes him to it.

A highly skilled hacker, coupled with his quick reaction time, combine to make him an adequate operative by STG standards, and highly skilled in comparison to many other races.

Ishk is a firm believer in the cycle of rebirth and took an interest in human Hinduism the moment he learned of it, and has been known to spout proverbs and teachings seemingly at random, but each time actually having some relevance to the current situation the rare times that he does.

His weapons are the Viper sniper, Predator pistol, and the Locust submachine gun

Colour me at least somewhat interested. I may or may not put up a sheet, preferably for a quarian, drell or turian.

Though I have a question: Which Mass Effect do you mean: 1 or 2? (Having not played 3 yet, I also request advance warning of any spoiler discussion.)
Edit: Question has been answered.

You know what? I think I would like to bring back Dregger.

If this thing jumps off like I expect it too, I'll be there with 350 pounds of grumpy Krogan.

Here is the re-done sheet.

Name: Bargon Dregger

Gender: Male

Race: Krogan

Age: 397

Appearance:

I don?t have photoshop so just imagine that armor Krogan Heavy Mercenary Armor (look it up on the wiki) and that the red is Aegis orange.

Class: Vangaurd (Subclass: Krogan Battle Master)

Powers: Shockwave, Incendiary Ammo, Concussive Shot, throw

Pre-Service Record: Dregger has been nick-named "Dregger the Jackhammer" or just "Jackhammer" for his history of single handedly breaking through enemy positions. He has killed more people than he can count and has no trouble sleeping. He has been known to argue with his superiors but is rarely severely punished because he is so dang valuable. He is always the guy that you send when you need to hold a position or break through one. He is the juggernaut and he likes it. He headed to Omega for the challenge and found more than just that. One of the reasons he has a notable reputation is that he has been known to occasionally just go rouge or refuse to put up with his employer any longer and go AWOL if he feels his employer is not worthy of his services or if he is not getting sent into the fight enough.

Psychological Profile: Like all Krogan, he enjoys battle and that is specifically why he took up life as a mercenary. If you are good at something, never do it for free. Dregger has earned himself enough money to live 2 lifetimes but keeps fighting for the thrill. He doesn't get a "blood high" or anything like that, he just wants to see if there is someone out there who can kill him. Ever since he was very young he has been driven by this inner need to find a worthy opponent. It is what drove him away from his home world and into this life. His constant thirst for combat has led him to a state of emotional detachment. He used to have trouble seeing the value of connections with other people because his entire life was driven by the search for one through battle. This leads him to have bad manners and a temper. If he doesn't like you he will say it to your face regardless of your rank. The one way his "co-workers" have found to gain his trust is to prove their combat abilities to him. This is what causes so many arguments between him and his superiors: He finds them weak and will usually defy orders that take him away from the front lines. As previously mentioned this makes him a wild card for any employer that takes him. He has had several "partners" that have earned his respect before but in this business it is hard to keep up with old friends so he doesn't really have any long term connections either. His life seems to blur together into a mess of battle and training with the only things that stand out to him being the times he found someone almost good enough. But here with Aegis, he has found some people worth remembering.
Reason for joining Aegis: The prospect of challenging battle

Notes: He doesn't care about race politics

Ironically he is infamous among "Respectable" Krogan because of his dismissal of formal ceremonies and traditions as useless busywork.

While he is no Commander Shepard, his name is well known among mercenaries

Name: Lia'Taer nar Iktomi

Gender: Female

Race: Quarian

Age: 24

Appearance: Lia'Taer is a relatively shorter-than-average Quarian girl with a slight figure. In fact, if it weren't for the clear differences between her suit and those of male Quarians, she could be easily mistaken for a man due to having an almost flat chest, nearly nonexistent ass, and average hips.

However, her suit is top-of-the-line, sleek, and just slightly armored on the chest and shoulders. It is primarily sand green with gold accents and what appears to be a shadow-gray under-suit, while her helmets visor and mouth-light are both bright orange. Her hood also appears to hang somewhat lower in the front, compared to the suits of other females.

Class: Soldier

Powers: Adrenaline Rush, Inferno Grenade, Incendiary Ammo, Carnage

Pre-Service Record: Lia was always a trouble-child in the Flotilla, due in no small part to her father, Sen'Taer, being an exceptional Migrant Fleet Marine. Her mother, Kyra'Taer on the other hand, was part of the maintenance crew of the Iktomi. She was raised off of stories of her father, who had died shortly after she was born, thus making the other Quarians on the Iktomi her extended family.

Despite being well educated and raised in a loving environment, Lia spent countless hours on the Extranet looking up all matters military, and before long, started to become more and more gun-crazy, crude, and overall more bitchy. While her mother, as well as most of the others on the Iktomi, frowned heavily on it, one of her fathers old Marine buddies, Dorn'Saara, decided to take a more personal hand in her upbringing: Mainly by teaching her how to shoot.

Using an old Mattock that had been lying around for who-knew how long in the crowded Iktomi cargo bays, and modifying it to accept thermal clips, Dorn steadily taught her how to be a marksman. At the same time, the modifications Lia made to the rifle to made it work caused her to start tinkering on guns to try and make them work more efficiently, or more effectively.

Over time, her marksman lessons taught her to be a crack-shot with her rifle, while at the same time, her skills in modifying and improving weapons improved as she managed to beg other marines into letting her tinker with their guns. It was after several rousing successes, one of which being a modified heavy pistol which ultimately saved its owner, that she eventually became the armorer for the entire ship.

It was thanks to those skills that her time as part of the maintenance crew alongside her mother was limited. While she had an innate knack for ship repairs, that area simply held no interest to her at all. Her armory time also kept her from being booted off of the ship into an early Pilgrimage, which was almost delayed due to the Marines being reluctant to let go of an exceptional armorer.

When it came time to leave, she was given a few presents from the Marines: Pouches to attach to her suit for extra thermal clips, a mobile armorers kit, and an M-3 Predator Heavy Pistol from Dorn. After saying farewell, she set out on her Pilgrimage, making a beeline for Omega, thinking that it was a good place to let off some steam and get some good work, encouraged by rumors of a vigilante named Archangel.

Psychological Profile: Lia'Taer nar Iktomi is an extremely violent, irritable and outspoken example of the Quarian race. Rude, crude, and prone to bouts of long, creative strings of curses, both in her language and others, she would normally have been kicked out of the Migrant Fleet earlier, had it not been for her skills as an armorer. But, despite her prickly demeanor, she is a fiercely loyal and deeply caring friend. Not only that, but she is also rather sentimental, particularly towards her rifle and pistol, both of which were given to her by her mentor, Dorn, whom she holds in high regard.

However, she does have a variety of triggers, not the least of which are her figure, her height, her marksmanship skills, and her techniques for fixing recalcitrant machines, which usually involve her bashing it with a heavy wrench. Not only that, but she has a rather unhealthy attraction to fire, as well as explosions. This, along with a tendency to laugh maniacally whenever shes firing her rifle or sees something burning, tends to disturb some people.

Of course, she sees no problem with it whatsoever.

Reason for joining Aegis: Lia'Taer, as volatile as she is, knows she needs some sort of safe outlet for that aggression. As such, she feels that joining a Protection/Security agency on Omega is the best outlet available for that.

Omega is violent, full of the criminal element, and she feels that she would have little to no guilt in killing criminals trying to break into warehouses and the like, where they clearly have no business being.

Notes: Lia constantly carries around three things no matter where she goes: A large metal canister that she wears in the small of her back which contains all of her armorers tools along with a very heavy wrench, her heavily modified M-97 Mattock, and a more lightly modified M-3 Predator which she received just before she left the Iktomi.

Said Mattock can fire only 12 rounds before needing a new thermal clip, but is more accurate due to an extended barrel, and fires heavier, armor-piercing rounds.

The Predator, on the other hand, functions very similarly to factory standard, however it has a more efficient heat-sink system, meaning it can fire more before needing a new clip.

I know, another female Quarian already, but I figure I may as well try and get my Mass Effect OC in on this.

[EDIT 1]: Changed her class to Soldier and changed the powers to suit. Also added a very minor addendum to her Psychological Profile.

[EDIT 2]: Updated Pre-Service Record and Psychological Profile.

Feel free to let me know if you think it needs changin.

Sweet, a Mass Effect RP.

I want to make a Quarian, BUT HE ISN'T A TALI CLONE!

He is male :3
Name: Ren' Nagaas

Gender: Male

Race: Quarian

Age: 23

Appearance: 6'1, wearing a typical Quarian enviro-suit mostly navy blue with orange visor, his armor is usually greasy and with the Aegis logo stamped on his right shoulder. Also wears a backpack with most of his gear and some tools in it.

Class: Engineer

Powers: Combat drone, Sentinel Turret, and sticky grenades.

Pre-Service Record: Son of one of 2 members of the maintenance department, he was trained in the maintenance ways, and was rather skilled (a prodigy even) but he always wanted to explore the galaxy. Naturally, when it came time for his pilgramage he never came back, leaving most of the Flotilla believing he died.

Not that he cared though, he was having the time of his life, until he made it to Omega and found the supposed joys of gambling. He quickly ran out of money due to his new habit, and was forced to work as a mercenary under Aria for both money and protection from amateur loan sharks with twitchy trigger fingers. He found he enjoyed the lifestyle, but hated most of the company, with the exception of the lieutenant he reported to. When he left to form his own security firm, he simply joined him.

Psychological Profile: A bit naive and gullible, but has an air of intelligence and is very polite towards others and very slow to anger and tries to avoid conflict, mostly with humour. He also has a tendency to be accidently xenophobic. In combat, he usually tries to think a few moves ahead and never charges in, leaving that "for the krogans".

Reason for joining Aegis: Protection, money for debts, and respect for Verahl.

Notes: His only weapon is a carnifax pistol, which has been slightly modified for extended clip and greater accuracy, though hes only ever shot it 13 times.
If the Quarian cap is reached, I can make a Turian instead. Kind of have an idea for one, but I like this one better.

I'll give this a run.

Name: Calezia Vyallis

Gender: Female

Race: Asari

Age: 116

Appearance: Skin isn't especially light or dark blue, just somewhere in the middle. Has some white, streak-like facial markings around her eyes and her left and right temples. Armor is a dark blue with white highlights.

Class: Adept

Powers: Barrier, Pull, Throw, Singularity

Pre-Service Record: Growing up on the Citadel, Calezia developed an interest in galactic politics from an early age. Unfortunately, her family wasn't especially wealthy, and the daughter of a turian cargo pilot working for Elanus Risk Control Services and an asari C-Sec officer wasn't going to have much influence to begin with. Nevertheless, she managed to get herself enrolled in a university on Thessia and completed a degree in political science.
Despite her degree, she still lacked the necessary clout to get into politics. Wealth and influence aside, her young age certainly didn't help. Deciding on another way to get up the ladder, she enlisted in the asari military and completed a few tours of duty, as military experience could only help her credentials. At the conclusion of her most recent tour, the idea that a better understanding of the state of affairs in the Terminus Systems might give her an edge in the political career she one day hopes to launch.
Declining to renew her comission with the military, Calezia made her way to Omega to find herself a merc group to serve with.

Psychological Profile: Usually quite cheerful and makes a point of paying close attention to news, gossip and rumour. Is very social by nature, enjoying associating with others and finding it quite fascinating to gain insights into the nature of those around her, particularly those of other species to better understand them. In regards to combat, she's found she enjoys it much more than she thought she would, although has a marked preference for fighting sentient organics as opposed to synthetics or dangerous beasts. They're more interesting in their actions...and though she'd never admit it, she does find somewhat of a dark pleasure in the expression on an opponent held aloft by her biotics while she picks them off.

Reason for joining Aegis: As stated in pre-service record, Calezia is motivated primarily by getting a firm grasp on the dynamics and workings of the Terminus Systems by serving in a merc company and otherwise just seeing what she can learn, in preperation for the political career she hopes for in the future.

Notes: Given her father's employers at ERCS, weapons of Choice for Calezia are an M-9 Tempest Submachine gun and a M-3 Predator Heavy Pistol.

Name: Tiron Sedenis

Gender: Male

Race: Drell

Age: 30

Appearance: Typical to most Drell, Tiron is about 5' 10" with a medium build. His skin is a dark, almost black, green with a patch of reddish brown on his throat. The frills on his head and neck are highlighted with very fine bands of a bright greenish-yellow.

On duty he wears a simple but well maintained set of light armour in company colours, while off duty he can usually be found in coveralls.

Class: Engineer

Powers: Overload, Combat Drone, A.I. Hacking, Incinerate

Pre-Service Record: Unlike a lot of Drell Tiron was born on Illium and not the adopted homeworld of Kahje. Life wasn?t the easiest on Illium, as his parents only had menial clerical jobs, but they made the best of it. Early on both his parent and teachers noticed an aptitude for mechanical engineering, and a growing interest in programming.

As Tiron got older, coming from a lower income family which on a planet like Illium was a big social black mark, he fell in with some of the minor criminal element. At first he was just some quiet Drell who had a knack for hoting up air cars and fixing mechs, but as word got around that he could code, people started to ask him to make hacking scripts for various 'endeavours'.

Things started to look up for Tiron, his skills had granted him a level of respect that had previously been unknown to him, and he was making good money. Young, 'rich', and full of ego he began to expand his reach, even starting his own crew. The 'Hunter Lords', as they were called, focused on the seemingly odd combo of car theft and cybercrimes, using the capitol from these crimes to purchase the best gear for hacking and the hottest mods for their vehicles and small army of mechs.

But as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end and for Tiron, it did so with a bang. Late one night, as the Lords where processing the latest batch of stolen cars, several rival crews attacked in force. Needless to say Illium Law Enforcement reacted quickly to the gunfire, and in the ensuing three way firefight Tiron was able to slip away to safety.

Dodging rival gang members and I.L.E. patrols, he managed to make it back home on foot...only to find I.L.E. waiting for him. At his trial, his lawyer was able to prove that he hadn't been involved in the shootout which had left ten dead, and another twenty five injured (both criminals and police), instead settling for the lesser charges of possession of stolen property, and possession of/creating and distributing illegal hacking software. For these crimes Tiron received ten years in jail, getting out in eight due to good behaviour.

With too many enemies still lurking and with any worthwhile jobs unlikely, Tiron packed up what little he had and moved to Omega.

Psychological Profile: While he is willing to cheat and steal to survive, Tiron dislikes unnecessary violence. For the most part he is quiet and self-absorbed, mostly preferring the company of his various projects to others.

Reason for joining Aegis: Trying to start a new life, he hopes to turn his work for Aegis into something that he can be proud of.

Notes: He carries an M-6 Carnifex at all times, along with an M-9 Tempest. At his home (little more than a two bay vehicle hanger, that he lives in the corner of), he has an A-61 Mantis that he is currently trying to rebuild by himself.

Always wanted to be part of this RP ever since the first one. Hope you enjoy my sheet and any criticisms or suggestions are welcome.

Name: Audilus Prollis

Gender: Male

Race: Turian

Age: 33

Appearance: Audilus stands at 6'9 with a darker skin. One of his mandibles is scarred and there are horrid gashes across his face from his 30-feet fall. He has a red paint on the top of his eyes and underneath of his mouth that points downwards like an arrow. Audilus is noticeably thinner than most turians but he lets his biotics along with his omni-tool do most of the fighting.

Class: Sentinel

Powers: Warp, Overload, Barrier, Cyroblast

Pre-Service Record: Audilus was born on the strict, and regimented Turian home world of Palaven. He grew up with a strong sense of duty and selflessness alongside many Turian children but his condition pushed those principles to the breaking point. Audilus was a biotic and many Turians respected his gift but deeply distrusted his kind. He served his years in the Turian military but in a "Cabal" with other Turian biotics and were more of a specialized group that conducted operations strictly watched by their superiors. Audilus also had a knack for engineering thanks to his father who served in the Corps of Engineers so Audilus not only could use his biotics but he was also useful with an Omni-tool.

But his military life was not easy for Audilus as he was faced by constant distrust and became the subject for constant scrutiny because of the nature of their powers. Officers and his fellow soldiers didn't seem him or the members in his Cabal as actual soldiers and eventually Audilus grew tired of it. He was a good soldier and a decent biotic but he always felt like nobody trusted him. Even his parents didn't fully have faith in Audilus so he jumped at the first chance he got to leave Palaven.

Audilus left for Omega with a friend, Vael, who has connections in the infamous Blue Suns. Vael was also a fellow biotic and knew the Blue Suns simply because they were his dealers and promised to join up once his military service was over. This "brand loyalty" earned him and Audilus a place in the Blue Suns but Audilus grew more and more skeptic once the "private security organization" turned out to be nothing more than a thuggish yet shockingly efficient mercenary group. As the days and months passed, Vael grew more unstable as he accepted drugs as a form of pay rather than credits. Vael was a greater biotic than Audilus although much of his power comes from the use of Minagen X3 and the cost of using such a substance for so long is the outbursts.

On one outburst, Vael grew violent with Audilus when he discussed leaving. Vael got into a fight with Audilus but Audilus ended up thrown over a ledge and down a 30 feet drop. Luckily he survived by landing on a sewage containment unit. His armor took the brunt of the damage but his face was also scarred in the process. Audilus was presumed to be dead and Vael was shot dead a few hours later by his "fellow" Blue Suns mercenaries. This couldn't have worked better for Audilus as he was now out of the Blue Suns and unemployed. He left behind all his gear and changed the paint on his face to hide at least some of his identity. Audilus used what pay he had and paid for new gear along with a few new toys.

Psychological Profile: Eager to serve and eager to please, Audilus searches for a niche to fill in his life but because of his treatment on Palavalen he is weary of compliments and always reads into what one person might say to him. Still, he is hard working and always puts his work before what he wants. This selflessness was instilled into him at birth but he sees the actual benefits that it has for him and his employers. He is also quite sarcastic but generally doesn't mean that much although he is usually a whole different person to when it comes to talking to his superiors or his bosses.

Reason for joining Aegis: Audilus still seeks a chance to make himself useful and with his skills, he sees no other way to put them to use than in a better mercenary company than the Blue Suns.

Notes: With what money Audilus had left, he spent on his new light Gladiator Armor, Edge I pistol, and Bluewire Tool.

Name: Doctor John Granger (Ph.D., M.D.)

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Age: 50

Appearance: Granger is of roughly average height at about 6'0 and has a thin, gaunt build, his cheeks seeming to be perpetually sunken, with high, prominent cheekbones. His head is shaved, but he has a brown goatee and mustache. His face is marked with a number of minor scars that anyone picks up over their lifetime, as well as a mole under his left ear. The skin is worn and beginning to wrinkle.

Outside of combat situations he is generally well dressed in a charcoal suit, unless he is currently in his lab/infirmary, in which case he wears a labcoat or scrubs. In combat situations he wears light combat armor, painted for camouflage depending on the situation. He keeps his helmet on unless he is doing precision work on electronics or a person, in which case he retracts the faceplate for better visibility. At all times he carries a bag with him containing implements too complex for his omnitool to create on the fly.

Class: Engineer (Medic Subclass)

Powers: Sabotage, Overload, AI Hacking, First Aid

Pre-Service Record: Granger was a very smart kid, beginning to read at three, and by the time he began to attend school he was reading at a level generally expected of those a decade older than him. He absorbed knowledge like a sponge and easily raced through his school courses, soon being bumped up grades just so the school could keep up with him. He would graduate from high school at fourteen, earn his dual bachelor's degree in psychology and electronics at seventeen, his master's in quantum computing at twenty-one, and his doctorate in AI Theory at the age of twenty-four. Rather than enter the field, he then turned his attention to medical training, attending Johns Hopkins studying cybernetics and neurology. At the age of thirty-five, he would finish his residency as a fully qualified medical doctor, ostensibly specializing in cybernetic surgery and neurology but with a firm grounding in much of medicine.

It is at this point that John Granger vanished from official records almost entirely for years, it later being discovered he was hired by the Frontier Corporation for work on an illegal AI project. For ten years he labored on the creation of this new entity, codenamed Galatea. On the cusp of their success however they were raided by Council agents under the command of the Spectre Nihlus Kryik. The Synthetic Insights personnel were arrested and Galatea destroyed - or as Granger saw it, murdered.

Granger was between a rock and a hard place, facing decades in prison. He was offered a plea bargain - turn over all research materials and testify against Frontier Corporation and his sentence will be reduced. With no alternative, he took it, leading to the arrest of Frontier's executives. Granger would spend the next five years in prison, emerging at the age of fifty. In the interim, his medical license had been revoked for gross misconduct and the black mark on his record from turning state's witness and from working on illegal AI meant no legitimate corporation would consider employing him.

With no real recourse, Granger headed for Omega in the Terminus systems, hoping to find work. He found it eventually, a mercenary group that had a need for his technical and medical expertise, and wasn't too concerned about the spots on his record. A man has to eat.

Psychological Profile: Granger seems like a fairly normal guy for the most part. He isn't gregarious or boisterous, but he's friendly enough, he smiles, laughs, tells a joke here and there. Behind this however is the mind of an obsessive egotist, determined to prove himself right, determined to prove the Council wrong by creating a stable, safe artificial intelligence. He didn't invest decades of his life into studying code and the human mind just so it could go to waste in a mercenary company stitching up their every nick and scratch, he will earn his place in history if he has to carve it there with a scalpel.

Reason for joining Aegis: He needs the credits and security to conduct his research and experiments. The clout it gives him allows him an edge when dealing with the suppliers for the components he needs.

Yeah, I've been reading all of them, but I've just been taking it a bit slow. I only really started to review each of them tonight. I was going to write down my reviews for them one by one but send 'em out all at once to everyone, but I'll send the few I have done already out now instead.

Also, as a side note, if anyone is wanting to talk wih me in private, or shoot me a message, we do have a Steam Group that we do use to chat with members. It allows a lot more rapid conversation and decision making over PM's, so I highly recommend using it. You can either find my Steam on my profile here at the Escapist, or directly go to add friend and add: mightybeaver. The profile you should find will be one titled InsaneSorceror, with a Lambda in the middle, that is me.

Ah, ok, cool! I'll await to see the verdict on my character then.

Designation: NTT02; "Nina"
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Age: ? (19 biologically)
Appearance: Nina is 5' 3" has short red hair, blue eyes and a light build. She was designed to be unassuming when she needed to blend in yet seductive when her superiors needed information.

In combat she wears a medium weight set of armour, the main feature being her helmet with several high resolution multifunctional optical sensors and several powerful antennae that provide powerful uplinks to wireless networks, communications and active scanning.

Class: Infiltrator
Powers: Tactical Scan, Tactical Cloak, Proximity Mine, Sabotage

NTT02, call sign "Nina", was the second test type for a Cerberus project called Nemesis. The project was created to build an assassin that had full loyalty to the Cerberus Hierarchy. According to her file she was cloned using a technique similar to the one used by Henry Lawson to create Miranda Lawson. Her growth was then accelerated until she reached the biological age of 18, when she was placed into stasis along with her "sister"; NTT01 "Lucy". Several others were created with the intention of being prototypes.

Work on the project stalled as the newly maturated Nemesis prototypes lacked even basic motor skills. Experimentation with Asari mental imprinting was met with limited success. With use of a Asari Commando contractor Cerberus was able to create an effective assassin. However the repeated melding with a single Asari caused the prototypes to develop personality traits of the Asari. Imprinting from multiple Asari did little to curtail these results.

The solution finally came from the Lazarus Project, where mapping of Commander Shepard's regenerating brain showed the pathways for particular skills. Further research into this phenomenon was performed on other N7 personel under the guise of medical tests. The research team was then able to pick and chose the neural pathways that they wanted the Nemesis to have. After prototyping NTT01 was given Biotic capabilities as well as the structural enhancements to wield the "Widow Maker" sniper rifle, NTT02 was only given the structural enhancements.

NTT01 and NTT02 were tested repeatedly for six months. NTT01 proved to be much more lethal than NTT02 when facing multiple hostiles, however NTT02 was able to enter an effective support role when assigned to a squad; able to provide overwatch functionalities as well as long range fire support and when it came to a precision strike against a single target NTT02 was able to terminate and exfiltrate much more efficiently than NTT01. NTT02 was given clearance for a live mission first.

NTT02 was tasked to assassinate an N7 acting as part of a Corsair task force on Omega. NTT02 seemed to have a psychological breakdown and refused to fire on the N7 operative, and then subsequently killed her handler. NTT02 then disabled the fail safes installed on her and then went off the grid. Recovery teams sent after her have either found nothing or have been killed in unrelated violence.

The reason for NTT02's betrayal is speculated to be the fact that the N7 operative targeted for assassination had his neural pathways mapped and some of them implanted in NTT02. It is then assumed that the kill order caused an issue with the "Self Preservation" mental programming. The Nemesis Project was sent back to the prototyping phase.

Psychological Profile: Nina did not have a childhood and did not have any sort of emotional development due to Cerberus testing proceedure, therefore she comes across as childishly naive. On Omega this reads as vulnerable and she is often set upon by thugs attempting to take advantage. She has a high tolerance for pain and the pain of others, the latter boarding on sociopathic detachment; she has been found taking apart her assailants like a child would take the wings off flys.

Combat-wise she tends to engage from a distance if her target can be taken out with one round. If not she sneaks up and either sabotages or traps vehicles and buildings to either take the target out with the ensuing chaos or draw them out.

Most of her actions stem from instinctive conditioning and are rarely a result of concious decisions; the main goal being long term self preservation.

Reason for joining Aegis: After her betrayal of her handler, Nina recognised that Cerberus would likely kill her either through clean up or biopsy to find out what triggered. Her loyalty to Cerberus was outweighed by her self preservation conditioning and she decided to hide. She had been trained somewhat in the structure of the underground and its basic politics and she figured the best way to survive and stay hidden would be to join up with a small mercenary company.

Primary Weapon: M-13x; A modified version of the standard M-13, able to switch between a low and high calibre round. The low calibre round allows several shots to be fired from a single thermal clip, the higher calibre setting causes the weapon to sheer off a larger round and over clocks the mass accelerators; causing the weapon to overheat after one shot. Due to the higher quality materials needed in its construction it is heavier than the standard M-13 Raptor.

Secondary Weapon: M-25 hornet; modified with light weight parts to reduce carry load. She carries this weapon everywhere she is alowed.

High bounty on her head placed there by Cerberus.

Moderate proficiency in hacking and demolitions, high proficiency in marksmanship

There's a few things in this Bio that would make me, if I was a DM, raise an eyebrow. If anything's wrong let me know and I'll see if its fixable, but I've always wanted to play this kind of character.
