The Texas AG says in the press release that the reporting from his org, Project Veritas, led to the arrest of the "fraduster".
Trying to call someone a liar when you have demonstrable evidence to the contrary seems like a bad take.

Fair enough. I didn't really get that feel from the article, but it makes as much sense as anything else.

You'd have to watch the videos and see the person admit to playing both sides on camera.
