You do realize as hyped as it is, they aren't going to have anything different then any other game except OMG JEDIS! It's not like they found the secret holy grail of taking out constant grinding.Radeonx said:Get neither and wait for The Old Republic. That's just my opinion, though.
Just a fun time, both games are very different, except for the fact it's an MMORPG, but Aion looks beautiful and more complete then Fallen Earth, but Fallen Earth has the post-apocalyptic setting i love so much, it also has guns, but a more (what seems like) complicated system of abilities.pantsoffdanceoff said:Anything you specifically want out of either the games?

I would go with Fallen Earth.AkJay said:Just a fun time, both games are very different, except for the fact it's an MMORPG, but Aion looks beautiful and more complete then Fallen Earth, but Fallen Earth has the post-apocalyptic setting i love so much, it also has guns, but a more (what seems like) complicated system of abilities.pantsoffdanceoff said:Anything you specifically want out of either the games?
Aion has fully voiced in English storyline quests. Not every quest can be voiced, of course. And I don't think TOR will have it, too.The Dr Jack said:Oh, so the whole fully voiced thing and an actual storyline mean nothing to you? As well as being developed by the people who have arguably made the best Western RPGs over the past few years? KOTOR, Jade Empire, Mass Effect?pantsoffdanceoff said:Anything you specifically want out of either the games?

Define me an actual storyline. Guild Wars had one. [i/]Oh but that's not a real storyline[/i]. So what? Bioware hasn't shown you their storyline. Mass Effect was essentially bad guys are coming back to eat humanity. Lovecraft and 1000 other people beat them to it. As for fully voiced actors, again I ask so what? Most people you interact with are going to be other players (are at least I would HOPE so), so much voice acting will depend on whether other people will have mics. The Dr Jack said:Oh, so the whole fully voiced thing and an actual storyline mean nothing to you? OH GOODY! I'll be killing 1000 sewer rats, but at least I'll have proper motivation?ZeroMachine said:And another person completely ignores the story element. Do some research. It is different.pantsoffdanceoff said:Anything you specifically want out of either the games?

EDIT: And for the record, I agree with Radeonx.
Have you even watched the gameplay video they released? Every single class has their own personal Knights of the Old Republic length storyline. That means the game will be like that. Did you enjoy that game? Then you'll most likely enjoy TOR, because it'll be that where some people can cross over into another person's story.pantsoffdanceoff said:OH GOODY! OH Goody, my little question has now turned into a fucking fanboy Star Wars rant, how about you actually give me an answer on your opinion of the 2 games I'm choosing from, instead of instigating a flame war, eh?!ZeroMachine said:Have you even watched the gameplay video they released? I highly suggest you watch the video before you start bashing the game. You're only making yourself sound like a sarcastic prick that doesn't know what he's talking about.
yes. also, you can fly in aion. plus, there is almost no grinding. the main story quests in aion pretty much elevate you there solo.AkJay said:Just a fun time, both games are very different, except for the fact it's an MMORPG, but Aion looks beautiful and more complete then Fallen Earth, but Fallen Earth has the post-apocalyptic setting i love so much, it also has guns, but a more (what seems like) complicated system of abilities.pantsoffdanceoff said:Anything you specifically want out of either the games?
In case you didn't notice, I gave you my opinion. Wait for The Old Republic. If you want another, I'd say play WoW. Those other games may be good, but WoW is the best out there right now.AkJay said:OH Goody, my little question has now turned into a fucking fanboy Star Wars rant, how about you actually give me an answer on your opinion of the 2 games I'm choosing from, instead of instigating a flame war, eh?!ZeroMachine said:Have you even watched the gameplay video they released? Your personal insults reflect badly upon you, and the rules. Also, i do not WANT The Old Republic, because i hate Star Wars and anything Star Wars related, i know it's hard to fathom with a fanboy like you, but i want either Aion or Fallen Earth, i've played WoW for years and quit, so how about YOU stop acting like some high and mighty god!ZeroMachine said:In case you didn't notice, I gave you my opinion. So please, don't be a dick about things, eh?
I'm NOT acting like some high and mighty god, you apparently just felt like putting me on that pedestal! I didn't know you hated Star Wars (and by the way, I don't care if people don't like Star Wars, I'm not some idiotic fanboy, I realize people like different things) and I didn't know you had already played WoW. It's not my fault you assumed I'm psychic.AkJay said:Your personal insults reflect badly upon you, and the rules. It's not about you being psychic, it's about me giving you two options ,and starting a flame-war with pantsoffdanceoff, and you say you understand that people like different things? well then, please explain why you started arguing frivolously with PantsOff because he said he didn't like TOR or thought it was going to be overhyped, hmm?ZeroMachine said:I'm NOT acting like some high and mighty god, you apparently just felt like putting me on that pedestal!
