Alienware's m15x vs. Asus G73jh

I am looking for a gaming computer to take to the college dorms with me and I'm stuck between two beautiful machines: The Asus G73jh A2 and the Alienware m15x...

I wanna ask those of you that own a G73jh/m15x what problems you've had and your opinion on which machine has superior performance. (gaming film editing etc.)

I have an Asus (not the mentioned, though), and I can tell you that all of the machines they make are fantastic. So I'd go with that.

Do not buy the Alienware. I cannot stress this enough. If you absolutely have to have a gaming PC, make it the Asus - they have a better reputation among serious PC gamers.

Why so anti-alienware?
