A tea party firebrand who is running for the Republican nomination for governor of Texas says he has received monoclonal antibody injections after being diagnosed with COVID-19 pneumonia.

Allen West, who is/was gearing up to run against Texas governor Greg Abbott is in the hospital right now with COVID. West had previously turned down the vaccine claiming that people should choose to be vaccinated and he chose not to be. He's now on a regimen of aborted babies monoclonal antibodies and ivermectin, but his oxygen saturation is dangerously low currently.

His wife, who is vaccinated, is currently fine.
