Have you ever went to the movie theaters and be the only person there watching the movie? I did once and asked for a refund because I was too weirded out being the only guy in the place. It felt really awkward being the only guy there.

There has to be some missing context here.

Why did you go to the movies by yourself in the first place?

I can't say I've ever done that.

I don't think I've ever even been to the movies without a friend/relative/romantic partner.

I did once. When I went to see Fair Game, that happened.

...I liked it.

No, but I've gotten close. Saw a movie in the afternoon and there were only two other people. I think it would be pretty awesome to get an entire theatre for yourself. Finally, nobody crunching, slurping, talking on their phone or jingling their keys. You lucky dog.

How else will the serial killer find me?

No, I have not. Thus he never has.

Happens to me all the time. See, I go to my local cheap theater a lot, especially on odd days at odd times. Maybe three years ago this had never happened to me but now it happens about twice a month.

That.

Would.

Be.

AWESOME.

How can you possibly complain about having an entire theatre to yourself?

No whining children or infants, so giggling schoolgirls who won't shut their mouths, no big fat hairy guys who've never heard of deodorant, no awkwardly shoving your ass in peoples faces to get past them, or vice versa.

Bliss.

If I go alone, I go when there are going to be more people. It's really weird and a bit sad to be the only one in a whole room.
Though asking for a refund sounds, well, lame.

What movie did you go to? It doesn't sound like a very popular movie...

It does seem a little wierd and I would be paranoid that it's some kind of prank or worse. If not, it would be kinda awesome to have a whole movie viewing just to yourself.

I've never been the ONLY person at a movie but when I saw Harry Potter 5 there were only 8 people there, and four of them were me, my brother, my mum, and my dad. Probably the best cinema experience ever.

Alone? At the movies? I'd strip down and run around naked to my hearts content. Just to say I've done it.

And no, never been to the movies by myself. I like company.

I would probably be boring by myself but with a friend I think that would be awesome. You could be as loud as you wanted and nobody would give a damn.

I've done that a few times. I watched Due Date on the 24 of December, and the only people in the theatre were me, my friend, and three other people. It can be pretty fun, but I get what you're saying OP.

Yeah, I've done that before. I went and saw the Simpson's Movie near the end of its theatrical run and I was the only person in the theater. It was great, I was able to laugh as loud as I wanted. It was kinda weird being the only person in there, but I had a good time, so it didn't matter.

Once. I actually had to buy 3 tickets since they would have canceled the screening otherwise.
But WTF? You asked for a refund for being only one in the place? Stupidest thing i have heard during whole week. I hope you didn't get your refund.

All the time, I like it. It allows me to reenact scenes from the movie without getting odd looks.
