I thought I would never be interested in this game because its Disney Art Style turned me off and just overall doesn't feel like a Blizzard game to me. And don't get me started with the 'cringes' fans...

Than I saw this trailer for one of the Multiplayer Maps and now I want to play in it (And also proof that Blizzard is making Overwatch to look and feel like Disney/Pixar):

I wanna go to Goldshire and the Valley of Heroes now updated with Modern Graphics!

I wanna see what's inside a Terran Barracks.

Though a bit dissapointed that the Diablo themed attraction isn't straight up the Burning Hells. It could have been the scary roller coster ride in a Cave that is Diablo hell.

So I concede, now I want to play this game just for being in this map. Heck I'll play the game fully if they straight up make a Warcraft/Starcraft character as a playable Guest character. I wanna be Tychus Findley with the Mini Gun, I wanna be Thrall smashing people with the Doomhammer.

Unfortunately you only get to play on a small portion of the theme park.

https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/overwatch/images/b/bd/BlizzardWorld_-_Map.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/1580

For instance, you don't get to see the "Hellscream" rollercoaster, or the "Darkmoon" ferris wheel, or "Blackrock Mountain". These are just background decoration.

As for the map itself, it's certainly a nice looking map, but I find it's a bit too 'busy' visually-speaking.

Up until now, there have been no maps with bright red (or blue) visuals/decorations in them. Map colors have always been mostly muted, which is a deliberate design decision so you can locate and recognize enemies (or allies) quickly and easily. But on this new map it can sometimes be difficult to immediately notice enemies amongst all the bright moving colors in the map.

Personally if I had to buy the game, I would buy it used or at a sale for $40 or less. Anyways, have fun!

Probably because the number of Overwatch players that knows those games can be counted on one hand.

Ok, that's probably exaggerated, but the vast majority doesn't know or care about them, so why bother spending dev time on it when you can put in more Diablo, Warcraft and Starcraft stuff? Then again, maybe Blizzard doesn't remember them either, since the only lip service Lost Vikings got was a dumb lost & found joke.

Blizzard used "Appeal to people's nostalgia"!⚡️

It's super effective!⚡️⚡️⚡️

Hope you end up enjoying the game though 👍

I only just found out about this trailer and map today.

And sadly I spent my money on getting Battle for Azeroth Pre Order days ago.

I'll just wait for sale on Battle.net
