Game of Thrones. I don't like it. I can't be the only one...

Surly there is another of my kind out there somewhere in the vast vacuum of the universe...

Not according to Critical Miss.

Seriously, though, no-one in my immediate family watches it...my mum watched the first episode and that was enough for her.

I wouldn't mind so much if people didn't keep blathering on about it, especially the people who keep bugging me to watch it.

This thing has become the new My Little Pony.

No one will stop going on about it, and it's completely taken over the internet.

^ All the GoT articles along the bottom. And that's only scratching the surface.

Well, I don't watch it, but I am reading the books.
Of course I'm only reading the books because I've liked George R. R. Martin's work for a long time.

Obviously not.

Game of Thrones is just a good show that's pretty popular so obviously, when a new season starts, people are going to want to talk about it.
That and considering the nature of the tv show and the books, there's lots of room for discussion and speculation on plots and characters so, if you're into it, it's pretty fun to talk about.

It probably seems like it's everywhere at the moment but that will die down again once the season ends.

My friends seem to talk about all the freaking time...

No interest in it. I tried watching the first few episodes to give it time but beyond the dwarf character there is nothing of interest there in.

Never seen it, not planning on watching it either.

I'll fully admit too, that now it's just a matter of Hipster Snobbyness why I won't watch it, but whatever

Yes you are. You are the only one. Everyone else on the planet loves it with all their heart. You are a freak of nature. Now live the rest of your miserable existence in solitude.

I really don't like it but I've watched to the end of series 3 just because I don't like being out of the loop about TV programmes. I can't enjoy it and I don't remember anything from any of the series except the end of the third and all the tits in the first episode.

Never watched an episode or touched the books. They just don't strike my fancy--which a lot of my friends find extremely weird, considering the other stuff that I'm into. And after watching Honest Trailers and WatchMojo, I can say I really don't want to watch it. There was a clip from the show in both of their discussions that made me sick, and I have no desire to watch a show like that. I wouldn't enjoy it I'm afraid.
I've also never seen an episode of The Walking Dead.

I don't watch it. I have read all the books so far on the recommendation of my friends, and my grandparents bought me the entire set of books that have been released so far for my birthday and I must say I felt a little underwhelmed after reading them, and that effectively killed any kind of interest I may have had in watching the TV show. It seems like everyone watches it because it is pretty much all my work colleagues and friends talk about, and one of the seasons has just been released on DVD and Bluray, but I assure you, you are never the only one.

Nah, never watched a single episode. The same for stuff like Walking Dead or Lost that "everyone" watches. I've never been into most TV series in general so...
The only more recent series I liked was Fringe and stuff like Simpsons.
Maybe I'll read Song of Ice and Fire some day but so far I have a lot of books above it on my "what to read" list.

I love it and I loved the books. I didn't watch Breaking Bad, though, and it simply doesn't interest me. And Lost lost me after the pilot. So I guess I have two where I'm the "only one" (I read and liked the Critical Miss comic ;) )
