Did you know that Amazon sells digital download games? Neither did I, but apparently they do and they have a not-half-bad sale on, trying to get in before Steam's summer sale I guess.
Now, it's only open officially to US residents, but there are ways around that if you're willing to falsify some information to make an account. Not that anyone ever lies on the internet.
I really like their system. While not as sophisticated as Steam or even Origin, their core idea seems to be "You bought it from us, we don't care where you play it." You can download your games or just take the cd keys and register them on the service of your choice. If only Origin worked that way.
I got Spore, because I've always wanted to buy it but not for more than $10, so I'm happy with that.
