Recently, (yes I know it was is a few months old now) I saw this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8S8tbQMp2k
It's the Samsung OLED screen being hit with a hammer and bent without breaking
I find this absolutely crazy and amazing, but I don't understand how it works and what brake-through in technology means it can now be made? ( like the japanese electrified rubber, I know what it is and how it is an amazing break through in technology) and what is it going to lead to in the future?
I have looked on wikipedia and other website but its just too complicated. I'm not a moron but I'm not a computer scientist so please explain as clearly as possible while avoiding any technical terms like Active Matrix Light Emitting Diode ( I understand everything but the active matrix)
thanks guys
While you there a quick and simple random explanation of firmware would help too.
Thanks!
