So today i decided to go mallratt-ing to look for two shoes that i've been in love for years.

Nike Cortez Classic Nylon and,
Adidas Samba Classic

I love them classics!!!

So i went to the 1st designated mall, and went to the Nike outlet. I immediately saw what I was looking for. Too bad it wasnt black but dark blue, but what the hell, i instantly jumped on it! Mission 1 Success.

After that i went and grabbed meself lunch, while browsing for Samba classic sellers because i couldnt fine them in any Adidas counters. Until i found one that is selling one, one stock left, and in myperfect size. Called up the guy, went fast and furious to the rendesvous point. And completed my second mission.

I couldnt stop smiling while driving home :)

When i got home, my mom called me, said she wanted to talk. I was like 'alright', i was happy as hell, lol.

Little did i know, after a couple of minutes of useless 'how's your day' convo, she jumped the gun on me.

She wanted to get a divorce with my dad.

Damn, what an anti-climax, i havent even tried my kicks in front of the mirror. But as the divorce part, im backing her up all the way. I actually made a thread before which is titled "How's life treating you", so those who read the opening thread would know why she wanted a divorce and why i got her back.

Anyways, just wanted to put this out because, DAMN! it was all going so smooth!!

Have a nice day peeps :)

Wooow that's like getting to drive a Bugatti Veyron and crashing it after twelve seconds of driving it. Actually, it's not like that... they're very different situations... ignore me

I have a hard time empathizing with this, OP, since divorces don't really bother me and I don't care for shoes, but I'm sorry.

i think thats Murphy's Law. karma's do bad things, bad things happen etc.
OT: shame about the divorce. that sort of thing can ruin a day.

If you completely understand and agree with her reasons for wanting a divorce does it really make you unhappy?

I completely agree. Wouldn't it be worse for a bad marriage to go on?

I had a nice, relaxed day a few years ago. I completed a gameboy game that had been bugging me for a while. I was trampolining, and went inside late evening. I walked in through the back door into the kitchen and my mum just takes me aside and says, "we're putting the dogs down."

I was blown away, but I got why. One was very old and struggled up even a small amount of steps, the other had sustained a leg injury, was hopped up on painkillers and the surgery to fix his leg had a 45% success rate and was horrifically expensive. (That didn't stop me begging them to try it.)

"Anthony, I'm having an affair with the mailman. But you can't tell your dad."

". . . Why not?"

"Because he died in a car wreck earlier today."

Look on the bright side, if you hadn't gotten those shoes, it would have been an awful day as opposed to a lukewarm day.
