Ok so Zombieland was awesome, that's not up for debate, and movie tie-ins are usually shit. But I've had an amazing idea for a tie-in that would actually work as a game.
Working from the "Zombie Kill Of The Week" joke from the film we could set up something like Madworld, where the objective is not primarily to kill enemies but to kill them in awesome ways.
I can hear you saying already, "But Madworld was crap because computers can't judge awesomeness automaticly, and the points awarded never accurately reflected how cool a kill was." Well therein lies my genius idea. We make other players judge each other's kills and award points of say 100. A kill that got lots of good ratings on average would make it into daily, weekly, monthly and overall charts for awesomeness.
It could all be done over xbox live / ps3 network, would require interesting level design and a good physics engine so that players could really use their imaginations when killing zombies.
Oh yeah, and anyone who gets the "Zombie Kill Of The Week" gets to play as Bill Murray.
I'll be expecting letters from all major game developers offering me seven figure salaries very soon.
