Climate change isn't the only inconvenient truth, so I was thinking what are some other inconvenient truths you've come across?

An inconvenient truth - a lot of the first world countries sell arms to unstable countries.

It's slightly ridiculous when you realise by arming them they could very likely become a potential threat.

Robert Mugabe is a genius. Don't get me wrong I do not admire him, on the contrary I hate the f***er, but the way he runs rings around the West and seems to get away with all his despicable deeds... The man has unbelievable survival skills.

No one is going to thank you for being a video game critic until you're dead...if Lester Bangs, Samuel Johnson, Pauline Kael, Matthew Arnold, and all my other heroes are any indication.

That really happens with everything, people feel they have to say something nice as a send off.

As has been proven with Afghanistan. And now we're to busy dealing with them, the Ruskees are free to kick off elsewhere.

1) People enjoy sex, including your grandparents, your parents, you, and - where applicable - your kids. Right now, there are in the world approximately somewhere beween half a million and two million acts of sex taking place, not counting solo sex. 6 billion people on the planet... everyone of them started as at aleast one orgasm. That is 6 000 000 000 cases of ejaculation. And then we are only counting those that really took root.

Maybe it's time we stopped being so fussy about sex huh?

2) Most of that which you know you have not learned by direct observation and deduction, but in fact you have been told those things by other human beings... imperfect humans which may have been wrong.

How do you know your truths are true?

There's no such thing as a free lunch.
I hold in my hand evidence of the opposite. In fact, I think I'll go cash it in right now. ;)

Hey, I'm a sexeh guy. ;)

Whatever you see, feel, smell, touch and taste has already happened. And each of these senses can be fooled without you knowing about it.

You are traveling at just over 1000 miles an hour with a weight of 1 kilogram per square centimetre on you. So is everyone else since birth.

Your base personality changes every 7 years as do your bones. Your body changes completely every 10 years. (On average)

You produce enough saliva by the time you're 78 to fill a medium sized swimming pool.

There are only two things that are certain in life:

Death and Taxes.
And taxes are worse, because death doesn't happen every year.

People are f*cked up, and we're closer to animals than we like to think.

Everything that can go wrong, will go wrong, at the worst possible time. (Murphy's law)

You can't rely on conventional wisdom.

And the possibly the most important reason why so many people, including yourselves, are still alive right now is because it is illegal to kill each other.

Why do people call them Ruskees anyway? Where did that term come from? It takes just as long to say "Russians" as "Ruskees" so why the necessity for a change?

Your base personality changes every 7 years as do your bones.
Sourced or just your personal opinion? I confess I'm intrigued if that's true.

As for mine...there will always be someone smarter, more attractive, more charismatic or more skilled than you eventually. No one stays at the top forever.

Sourced for skin and for bones. Personal opinion with some backing evidence for personality. Just tracking the source now. Every 7 years, there's a life-definining stage which shifts how your brain processes information based on your survival.
0-7 : Idea of Self
7-14 : Strengthen Self(for puberty)
14-21: Idea of Others
21-28: Idea of Society etc.
