So as some of you Starcraft fans might recall, I mentioned recently about how to me, the Zerg Queens on Starcraft 2 kind of resemble Raszagal in the head/arms/torso (perhaps some backstory to the matriarch?). Ok some agreed, some did not, but this week I bring forth something I think might be kind of cool, based on some artwork from Blizz.

I noticed on the pic showing Arcturus that he has a female Ghost standing behind him. Man, Starcraft Ghost would have been an awesome game to play, but I think it would be cool if Nova herself is sent against Jim at some point in the story, yet I also have an even more insidious idea the writers might do.

Now, as any Starcraft fan knows, Sarah Kerrigan killed Arcturus' father, and in retribution, he used her and left her to the Zerg in the original Starcraft (awesome pay-back, and awesome backfire) but, we also all know that James Raynor had himself a son, and he was taken to the Ghost program never to be seen again (though as the Confederacy did with many Ghosts they told Jim and Lydia that John had died- I'm not so sure).

So my nutty theory this week is, wouldn't it be cool if Arcturus found Jim's son, and will pit Johnny to kill off James at some point in WoL? It seems like just the type of dark irony that makes Starcraft stories so cool. Anyways, what do you guys think? Probable? Maybe? Or, what you talkin' bout Anax?

Also, if any other folks have some idears about the story, let me know. Keeps me excited for the game's release.

I'm going to be one of those in the "Don't think so" pile.

Pretty sure they've said that A) The female ghost is indeed Nova and B) If the writers can put her in without it being shoehorned and ridiculous, they will probably do so. (Wikilink [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Characters_of_StarCraft#Nova])

As for the rest of the stuff, I wouldn't put it past Arcturus, though you have to wonder if Lil' Raynor would rebel against Arcturus once he meets his dad. While sending someone's child to kill them is poetic and hilariously evil, it does have a rather large backfire tendency.

I'm assuming you haven't tested this...

You know what they say about making assumptions...

That they make an ass out of 'u' and whatever 'mption' is... I've never been clear on that point.
