***Spoiler Alert***
If you haven't read the book or watched the movie, you may be ruining the story for yourself by reading any further
I just returned from the cinema after watching Angels and demons. And i was disappointed. I've read the book, and when i watched the movie i couldn't help but thinking that the deep, deep story i read was almost mocked with this flat, empty movie.
In my view, hardly anything except for the murders, the villian and and the anti-matter is the same.
The wheelchair guy (Have forgotten his name) was supposed to bring Langdon into it. He was also the guy who was supposed to, in the end, expose who was behind the whole anti-matter bombing.
You don't hear the murderers story, his need for sexual satisfaction, and i'm pretty sure he doesn't die from a car bomb in the novel (If i'm wrong correct me)
The main female protagonist (can't even remember her name even though I just watched the movie) is so much standing in the shadow of Langdon, that she hardly participates in the action. She actually is part of the book, while her only job in the movie is complaining about her lab journals getting taken...
All in all i think this movie is so far from the story that it's not even the same.
Anyone agree/disagree with me? Am i just going to much into details or is this movie a total fail?
