I tried to find if this already had been posted but I couldnt find it.

I was looking on Game Politics and I found this

What do you guys think? Is she overreacting or does she make a valid point?

I think everyone can agree with me when I say that shes an idiot.

So we we are not supposed to defend our selves if a dog attacks. We are just supposed stand there and let it mall us to death because its more humane. I don't know what upsets me more the fact that they are actually complaining about this of that they complain about shooting dogs more than shooting humans.

The reasosn games are so great is because you can do anything and be anyone without conseqeunces, killing a dog-shaped cloud of ones and zeroes means nothing. Killing a dog however is wrong.


Anyone that can't get the fact that games are fake needs to be locked up in my exxagerated-'cause-I'm-angry opinion.

Absolutely ridiculous. People like her need to have their licenses revoked, or prove they can do actual research other than finding out what you kill in a game.

I love dogs near to death, but in a situation I would of course defend myself. I would try not and kill it though, a knock over the head works pretty well.

It was a bunch of high school students that started this per that article. My guess is that they were prob in some sort of government or history class that was talking about cruelty to animals or something along those lines. One of the kids probably mentioned how he shoots dogs in his game and you should be able to fill in the rest from there. As most things in America these days it got out of hand and no one gave a crap.

If a german shepherd or pitbill came rushing at you, a knock over the head would not deter it in the slightest from mauling a piece of your leg or arm, or even a chunk of your face, off. If I were in a situation where someone sent an attack dog at me, and I had a gun or a knife, I would not hesitate to protect myself.

That's not to say I haven't punted my share of little aggressive terrier dogs with a cold, hard boot.

I love animals, but there is a vast difference between killing a dog in a game and actually harming an animal. Just like there's a vast difference between shooting someone in an FPS and killing a human. When will people learn?

If you play a game and honestly think "hey, shooting dogs seems cool, I'm going to go out and do it!" then you've got serious problems. The game can't be faulted for it, because every sane person knows that it's unacceptable to do in reality.
