The first game published by BigMode, the new studio by youtube start videogamedunkey and his wife.
It's a solo dev pixel art metroidvania thing that promises to have all kinds of weird stuff in it. The trailers have bonker animal creatures appearing when something important seems to happen. I'm also intrigued by how it's pixel art but really seems to do a LOT with that. I tend to shy away from such games because they bank on nostalgia but this one promises to bring some innovative gameplay elements.

I had this on my radar as something interesting I wouldn't play because I just assumed it would be PC only and maybe switch but it's also coming to PS5! And it's coming out in just a few days. It looks pretty cool.

I'm not getting the game, because I am not interested in another metroidvania. Also, Dunkey specifically, can still fuck off for trying to start crap and encourage his fan base to attack the Sonic frontier's metacritic page and try to lower the score in a desperate attempt for the game to fail. Didn't work, you hypocritical fuck nugget.

It’s cool he actually has a game but yeah, he’s gotten a bit too full of himself with that, and it seems kinda dubious that he responded by saying that “this was not his intention and claimed that it was actually Sonic fans who were leaving negative reviews to make his fans look bad.”

Anyways I still don’t understand how he’s accumulated such a massive fanbase. Is it the funny sounding voice that people are drawn to? Maybe he was one of the first to use a quirky editing style for humor, idk.
