France attack: What we know about the stabbings in Nice

As France mourns the killing of three people at a church in the city, this is what we know so far.

Latest news is 3 dead.

At least 1 of which if not 2 of which were beheaded / nearly beheaded by the attacker who has been identified as

aged 21..... He had reportedly only recently arrived on a refugee boat via the Italian island of Lampedusa

Except it's not been the only recent attacks even excluding the beheading of a school teacher

Meanwhile, two other attacks happened on Thursday morning, although it was not immediately clear if they were linked to the Nice incident.

Police shot dead a man near the city of Avignon in southern France after he threatened a passerby with a handgun and a Saudi man was arrested on Thursday after a guard was attacked with a "sharp tool" outside the French embassy in Saudi Arabia.

The anger is coming after a newpaper apparently once again printed a joke about the prophet muhammad and France's president Macron chose to stand by the freedom of speech and expression of the creators leading to apparently demonstrations and anger.
