Does anyone want to guess who your family is? They need to be associated with Andrew Ryan because on the opening scene in the game, Jack looks at a package that his parents gave him. The part of the package you can read says, "Would you kindly not open this until..." The rest of the message is unknown. Has anyone developed who they may be?

They're not his real family. He was just kept with them until he was needed back in Rapture, so he could take out Ryan.
And the package probably said "Would you kindly not open this until you are at (latitude and longitude). Then there was probably another inside it with the gun that said "would you kindly crash the plane."

Jack is Andrew Ryan's son. His mom sold him to Atlas/Fontaine. Fontaine made the "mind control thingy" on him then sent him away from Rapture. When Andrew Ryan found out about that, he killed the woman whom he had Jack with(Can't remember the name). When Fontaine found himself in need of Jack, he told his "parents" to send him back to Rapture(The would you kindly on the package and the crashing of the plane). Jack was basically "made" to kill his father aka Andrew Ryan.
