Any good sites for posting artwork (That isn't DEVIANT ART)?

So, I've started to hate the vast amount of people on DE and am asking, what would you people suggest for a site where I can post art and the like?
Anyways, DE has lost my interest because of it's massive population of anime-scribblings has swamped most creations, with very few extraordinary pieces sticking out. I mean I'm an aspiring artist, at least for a hobby, but this website steamrolls the self-esteem of people like us.
For a comparison, I've posted the same 'mech drawing on DE and a battletech website.
DE: 69 views.
Mektek: 376 views.
Yes, yes, mektek is more specialized, but also has a lot of members, but only a partial gallery section, so most art gets a great chance there.
But I need a site where this would apply to other things than my mechs, as that is only a small portion of my drawings.

EDIT: In short, DE is too crowded, but I want a site not too small. I just want to be recognised.

Conceptart.org is a community for more professional artists seeking criticism and the like, so if you're really interested you could try there.

If it's porn, try just mashing the keyboard buttons into the "enter URL" box. If it's not porn, then the internet does not have the site you are looking for.

Oh, I'm sure there's tons of aspiring artists your age on there! If you're willing to take legitimate criticism to heart and really try at making yourself better, it's a good place to go.

I like Sheezy Art as an alternative to DA, though if you're looking for a place completely devoid of anime ripoffs/tributes, you'll be sorely disappointed.

I only know about conceptart.org as well. I mean there is Fine-Art.com but I think that's more art gallery based work. If that's your line of art though you could check it out.

I doubt much people are willing to look through 1655+ posts of random art.
Actually the thread is still alive. If you post, you're pretty much guaranteed to have someone quote you and comment

I dunno about that. Labyrinth has a thread running called the "artist in thee" and while it's any form of art (graphic or otherwise) i'm sure there will be plenty here who would love to view your work.

If you want professional recognition though, I still say conceptart.

You know, I can see what you're getting at, but I find myself less bothered by DA being crowded, and more bothered by 90% of the people on it being fucking retarded. I keep getting favs on my increasingly stupid comics just because they're fanart, but the pieces I've actually put work into go unnoticed.

Is your art based on a fandom and are you good at drawing? If yes it will be recognized.
That's kind of the problem with DeviantArt, to be honest. Your work has to be fanart or fanfiction or fan-whatever to get any attention. When you finally do get that attention, you receive no real criticism, just endless people telling you it looks great. That sums up my experience with it, at least.
