So i'm bored with most games now and need some new ones.
I was wondering if anyone knows any good games similar to dragon age: origins but not that or mass effect. I have those.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Knights of the Old Republic? A great game from the same people that made Dragon Age and Mass Effect.

Alpha Protocol is similar although not very good (idk maybe you will like it)

EDIT: actually Alpha Protocol does the choices matter thing better than any of the Biowere games, still not a very good game.

What, in your opinion is better, KoTOR, or KoTOR II? I played the first game when I was a tad too young and had no idea what I was meant to be doing, but from what I can remember it was a really fun game and I'd love to play it again.. However, I've seen KoTOR II and wondered if it was better than the first.

I'd offer you some advice, but it seems that I'd be of no help, as I also, am looking for a good RPG. If you don't mind FPSRPGs maybe try Fallout 3?

KotOR is more complete a game, wraps things up nicely and has an excellent twist in it that people love. It is well written (Bioware made it) and if you don't mind the combat, most people would say it is the better KotOR.

KotOR II was rushed by the developers - Obsidian - because LucasArts wanted a holiday release to fill their coffers. If you get it for the PC though you can download the restored content mod that really goes a long way to making the game feel more complete. In my opinion, it has the best writing and, as a lot of people say, one of the most well-written characters I've ever seen.

I'd recommend both as much as the other, but start with the first one, for obvious reasons.

Thank you, you have no idea how much that little insight helped me.
