Anybody Actually Use Their Earbuds?

I'm pretty sure in 2010 a significant portion of use have iPods or (if you don't know what a true quality purchase is) a Zune. And I haven't met one person you uses the proprietary earbuds. The main reason I don't is because they have atrocious sound quality and they crush my ear canal. So, I use clip-on headphones.

But anyway, enough about me. But do you actually use the earbuds your device comes with?

And also, does use canalphones? Cause I work at a job where it is noisy as fuck and would like to know if they are a good purchase.

I do not now, nor will I ever own an MP3 player. Especially not an iPod. I refuse to give money to Apple.

Mmm, not really, when I do use music devices. I do prefer headphones. Earbuds kind of irritate the inside of my ear, y'know? Plus...they're INSIDE the ear. And that's a little bit gross to me. XD

What really confuses the fuck out of me is why I can get on the bus and there will be people with earbuds who have their ipod up so loud I can hear it. Halfway across the bus. In perfect clarity.

Completely. And aside from being damn obnoxious, it's also really bad for you. So why? Honestly? Why would someone do that to themself and others?

I have a set of really nice Sennheisers I used to use on my Creative (Because iPods and Zunes are for tools) but I now use on my Palm since I have Pandora on it.

I HATE earbuds. When I bought my ipod I bought clipons with it. But my clipons recently died and god forbid Walmart has ANYTHING in stock. So, as I refuse to use earbuds, I'm using my PC headset as headphones.

I use earbuds - they're small, convenient, and easy to remove on the off chance somebody speaks to me. However, I sure as fuck didn't use the little pieces of horse crap that came with my iPod - those were atrocious. I bought some new ones, they have nice sound quality, but I'm probably going to buy some headphones that actually go around your ears later on; there's just no beating the sound quality.

I have the same ones, but in dark green.
My Droid came not with any headphones, so I just used my Skull Candies. I like em (me not being a huge audiophile), and they've done me good at keeping outside noise at bay.

Hey! I have a Zune, dammit! And lemme tell ya, that thing is my new best friend.

Anyway, I use earbuds, but only the premium headphones. If anyone else has a Zune, those are the way to go. Beautiful clarity, multiple sized ear pieces, and they cancel out outside noise (mostly; can't cancel but so much from an airplane turbine :/). Glorious.

Yeh I use those ones. The squishy ones. I can't use anything else now. Unless we move up to Headphones. But thats for gaming.

I've got a pair of soft philips earbuds that I've been using for five years now. Now the ones that come with the iPod, no they're trash.

I use the Squishy Noise Canceling earbuds (preferably from SkullCandy) but i do own a gaint headset i use both, but for social situations, earbuds usually win cause they're smaller and easier to store, but i'll probably end end deaf faster than most of humanity ...oh well

I hate earbuds so much. I stubbornly refuse to use them. Instead I use some cheapy regular earphones.
