Anyone else enjoying Yakuza 0 as much as I am

I must say, though, whenever I play any game in this series, I feel like I'm playing a 'dark' Shenmue, which is no bad thing!

The one game in the series I haven't played are the PSP Yakuzas? Would anyone recommend them?

I have not played it. I did play one on the PS2 many years ago cannot remember which one may have been the first and while I did not hate it I never felt impelled to complete it.

That said I have heard a lot of good things about Yakuza 0 and its on my to buy list as from what I have seen it looks pretty fun. May even go back to the PS2 one first to give that another go.

Yakuza 0 really is great. I also enjoyed the first one on PS2, and then, like a fool, didn't get the second game...which is now astronomically expensive!

it's pretty alright! I bought 5, but was unable to play it because even though its file size fit on my PS3 harddrive, apparently it needed an EQUALLY large installer to put it on my system, so alas, it sits in my purchases list, unattainable. *grumbles about my general hatred of digital-only releases for a good hour or so*

*ahem* anyway, this was my first re-visit to the series since 4 and Dead Souls, and while I didn't quite enjoy it as much as I enjoyed 4, it was a pretty good distraction! Kamurocho is always a fun place to visit, and the combat was as visceral and satisfying as ever.
