Maybe its always been this way or maybe I'm just imagining things but lately its really started to feel like wherever I look in the media and advertising its all about "next gen" and undermining high-spec gaming or the PC market.
Eg: Ubi developers embarrassing themselves over framerates trying to convince the console sheeple that higher FPS isn't actually better.
Eg: RPS not receiving a PC review copy of AC Unity till today and an embargo til after release.
Destiny? Yeah you're gonna have to wait until the hype is squeezed dry for "next gen" sales first.
GTA? Oh you'll get that later. Once its been out on "next gen" long enough.
At the end of the day, its not going to make me rush out to buy a new console and exclusive ransoms are dead to me on announcement. Its just a shame these will be released on PC well after the hype dies down.
