Hey all! So the Boston Festival of Indie Games is coming up pretty soon. It's on September 14th, to be specific. I'm posting to invite any Escapist members to the completely free and totally awesome event.

For those that don't know about it, Boston FIG is a celebration of New England area game developers and the indie community. There's quite a lineup this year, due to a combination of a successful Kickstarter and a list of sponsors.

There is going to be everything an indie fan could want. There will big street games and massive exhibits for digital and tabletop games. A bunch of speakers will give keynotes through the day, such as Robin Hunicke who will be discussing Finding Meaning in Gameplay. At the end of the day is our Boston Plays Indie concert, with Video Game Orchestra as our headliner.

We also have an art gallery, which is currently accepting submissions [http://bostonfig.com/art-exhibit-registration/] from any game artist in the New England area.

Anyone already planning on going?
