Sorry but I just had to check. The wind is terrible where I live (near Leeds). My house is rattling and I'm quite sure it's a sturdy house. It's been a bit windy for the past 1 or 2 days round here.

Sunny Darlo is never windy!

Uhm, unless it's today... It's calmed down a bit but I do have a draft in my room somewhere.

But the bathroom was creaking and making weird noises earlier.

I had a terrible whistling noise in my house all night and all the windows were closed.

Its our effects of hurricane Bill I think, I haven't looked it up but it's what I was told. I've just got back from an epic session dodging rocks whilst getting thrown about in waves, I'm bleeding abit. Awesome fun! :D

Oh God, I've just realised that by making this thread I'm my french friends' idea of a "stereotypical Enlgish man": always complaining about the weather

Bit of a breeze here in my part of London, but it's a bit hard to tell accurately what it's like when all of your windows face out into courtyards.

Rely on an English weather channel? They said there would be an epic awesome heatwave this summer.
Why do people so wronged by that? Do they actually trust the media...?

Well... who doesn't complain about the French? As Hugh Dennis said on mock the week "There's 3 problems with the french: their language, their arm hair and the fact that they are french"
