I, like alot of people, have succumbed to boredom. And I, like alot of people, Can enjoy a good debate. Now, I dont mean a flame war. I mean a debate. No insulting the person, just their opinion. Now, I dont want anyone getting angry here, this will be a clean, intelectual debate. So, if you disagree with any of the following, then by all means, explain why. If you agree with ALL of the following, (Which is realy unlikely) then post your own oppinion on seperate matters.
1-Family guy isnt funny
2-Nothing is wrong with homosexuality
3-The 360 is better than the Ps3 (this ones gunna get a reaction)
4-Transformers 2 is a horrible movie
5-Zero punctuation is still funny
6-Anyone who calls a homeless person a "Bum" is a prick.
7-leetspeak is annoying
8-Fox news is Grade A Shit.
9-Swearing isn't evil, its used for emphasis.
10- Abortions are not murder, or immoral.

I got beef with this one. I was homeless for a while and I still refer to homeless people as hobos. When I was homeless, I decided to up and get a job and before long I was living in an apartment with a couple of stoners. It really is that easy. Just takes some time, effort and some luck.

1) Granted, some parts of family guy can be a bit stupid or over the top, but there are often individual scenes or ideas that are hilarious./ Maybe it's a bit simple and unintelligent, but I still find it funny

2)Homosexuality is unnatural, as it is essentially a drive to have sex for pleasure without reproduction, and thus a perversion of the very purpose of the pleasure, which is to encourage reproduction

3) No argument. If there's one thing I do not enjoy, it's fanboy-wars =P

4)The fact that it was shown at all proves that it completed some kind of prerequisites, and I put it to you that if you want a terrible movie, you should see the ones that don't make it to the cinema

5) Once, there was proper reviews, but now Yahtzee has descended into a pathetic habit of merely ripping the piss out of things that have no way to disagree. The most spineless criticism is one way insults

6) Not at all. No one should be judged on merely their vocabulary. It's the meaning behind the words that matters the intent to insult rather than the actual words. Of course, if the homeless person in question is offended, then the speaker is a prick, but the word itself is no self-condemnation.

7)1337speak is a clever way of abbreviating your communications to make them faster, thus allowing more time for more important activities

8) I've never seen Fox News, being English, but I think you shouldn't call other peoples efforts shit till you've tried it yourself

9)Casual swearing shows lack of discipline, and anyone who does so habitually is weak minded and foolish

10) Abortion is the destruction a human foetus, to end it's existence and it's life. How can it not be wrong to deny it a chance at life?

1. It ain't. My sense of humor is odd. I laugh during sad moments in movies which annoys the girls.
2. There isn't. Just as there isn't anything wrong with Orson Scot Card's opinion on the matter.
3.In some ways one is better than the other.Games library versus Potential Power.
4.It was. Why didn't they use the shard on Optimus on the beginning? Oh wait, then how could Prime defeat the older Prime and the group magically appear in Egypt? So that character was inserted to fix the problem? I wish they just left Optimus dead. Forcing the transformer characters to actually grow more as a characters not as background.

6. They are pricks. Homeless people are more than just Bums. They deserve repect for not finding jobs, homes, food, useful meaningful relationships, getting addicted to stuff, being unable to get work because of how they look and thus forcing them to live on as homeless people.

How is the Ps3 better? This isn't a thread for just posting your opinion, it's a thread for defending it.

Family guy usualy has One joke on screen at a time, it has long scenes building up to jokes, and the jokes are usualy less than funny. It FREQUENTLY uses it's cop-out "This is worse than the time..." Seriously, that gets old fast. Compared to other comedy cartoon shows the storylines are all mediocre at best and stupid at worst.

At this point I'm not sure if your being sarcastic or not.
Leetspeak is annoying and insulting. It takes honest effort to type
like that. So, if you think typing is to easy, then 1337speak is for you.

Your right... Then i need to post something worth arguing over.
In many nations out there that are participating in research and use of alternative fuel sources. Indian has nuclear power plants and windmills for example. But in America whenever someone tries to put effort toward the alternative they seem to facing an uphill battle. Is this because the public has misconceptions about alternative fuel to oil or because there is a conspiracy from big oil and fat-cat politicians?

Personally I feel that it more of misconceptions than of conspiracy. In NYC, a nuclear powerplant was built and then shut down due to public misconceptions affecting politics. We, new yorkers now face the highest electric bills in the nation because there is no alternative than what we have. I wonder if the misconception is based on laziness or fear. Too lazy to understand what is out there or too afraid to put their money in something new.

Ah, but it's not your choice. To be truly fair, every sperm should be given life, and as it is, we should allow every chance at life.

Here is a parallel. You cannot stop hundreds of children dyeing every year from poverty and malnutrition. But does that mean that if someone brought before you a 6 year old orphan living on the streets, you could kill him/her without a qualm?
