I'm hoping one of the lower seeded teams do really well like BtH did in Meadowlands.

Incase you still can't get on curt. Classic just won 2-1 on CTF. They're now playing round 2: Team Slayer on Amplified.
& The Dynasty beat Triggers down in round 1.

Whats worse is that those games don't take as much tactics and skill to be good at as they claim. If they wanted a true skill based competition they would do it on PC.

Absolutely, all the real competition is on the PC. PERIOD. The MLG is just a bunch of idiots on Halo 3 that think they can make it big. Not to mention the fact that without a mouse & keyboard they might as well be trying to drive a car with a broken steering wheel. Eliminating skill and replacing it with luck.

Skill has nothing to do with beating someone in a complex environment or with complex rules. Skill is beating someone who is on the same playing field as you. A master at checkers is just as much of a champion as a master of chess, a much more complex game.

I disagree, mainly because this is a video game; not a game of strategy, and any video game with auto-aim (Halo) or luck-based shots (Gears of War) - does not demonstrate the kind of skill these players constantly claim to obtain.

I have been saying this for years. I even proved it. In TWL (A PC Gaming league) My team faced another team that used all 360 controllers in CoD4. They got rocked. Take the best pc gamers and pair them up with the best console gamers in a tournament... PC all the way. Wont even be fair for the consolers.

Both players have auto-aim in Halo, and anyone can time their reloads properly for "luck" shots. These are not luck like a card game such as poker. Both players are on the same equal playing field.
