Once again even I know few "archaeologists", I need help to seek for others as well.
Here are some strongs Examples I have:

Tomb Raider Series:

La-Mulana Series:

Uncharted Series:

Spelunky! Series:

Indiana Jones Series:

Thank you for your help!!!

The Lists are below:

Dr. Liara T'Soni. I don't think there have been any other archaeologists in the series, or at least as prominent.

captcha: need a bigger boat

There are either lots of them, or the boat is really small.

Really? I played the first Mass Effect and I don't remember being an archaeologist.
I must pay more attention....

Unearthed: Trail of Ibn Battuta is a blatant rip-off of Uncharted so main characters Faris Jawad and his sister Dania probably count.

Xenoblade Chronicles has a couple of them: Lupa at the Archaeologist Center in Frontier Village and Shura in Trafalgar Tomb.

She's a scientist with a specialization for ancient Prothean ruins, so at some points in the series she's studying stuff in various ruins. When you meet her in ME1 she's trapped in some ruins and you have to free her with a mining laser, remember?

Try The Secret World. No pics unfortunately, but the second main area of the game (Egypt) is full of archaeologists, either Egyptian (the Marya, who double as freedom fighters against an ancient cult), or the odd few from Oxford University (as you do). Only issue is it's an MMO (albeit buy-to-play, no subscription required although additional missions are unlocked via paid-for DLC). Still worth a look though :)

Are you sure? I think I found one of her:

Can you confirm?

Also I don't have plans to play it. I just need help to create again a list in Listal site.

Well there's Emma from Wild Arms, not a well known example but an example nonetheless.

My favorite though has got to be Brann Bronzebeard from World of Warcraft!

Leo Kliesen from Tekken series. She's a daughter of world famous archeologist and later, if I recall correctly, she also becomes one.

All I can think of are Indiana Jones, Lara Croft and Nathan Drake.

The Assassin's Creed games may count, in the most technical sense of the word. The idea behind everything Desmond and co. do is to facilitate modern-day archeology by recreating history in specific "archeologically interesting" spots through virtual reality. They do hunt for relics after all.

Maybe this'll be of some help:

I love these threads, they make me think hard about obscure trivia.

OT: Atlantis III: The New World.

The protagonist is an archaeologist in Egypt

But Indiana Jones and Nathan Drake aren't actually archaeologists are they? Like, not proper archaeologists. More like "archaeologists".
OT: In the Dragonborn DLC for Skyrim there's a guy who's excavating an old burial mound who gives you a line of quests. Completely forgotten his name though.

Yes, because Lara Croft is clearly a "normal" archaeologist.
We are talking about Videogames here. Logic not apply so well with pixels.

Now I think of it, Shall I put better "Treasures Hunters" than archaeologist?
What opinion you have?

Wouldn't really call Nathan Drake an archaeologist, because he is more of a treasure hunter and is in it for the money. He always ends up destroying old cultural places, which archaeologists wold have him lynched.
