In other words, do you spend your nights awake and being active, or do you go to bed early but wake up early, chipper and ready for the day?

I am definitely a morning person, I hate the night, it's cold, tiring, and I hate not seeing shit.

Same as above.
I hate the morning because I love the night.

Mid-day doesn't bother me too much.

A year ago I used to get up at 7:00 every morning and was asleep by midnight. Now it is a violent struggle to get up before noon.

Morning bird.

I really have nothing to do during the night. Besides I love to sleep and fell refreshed in the morning.

Morning bird.

If I stay up late, I'm staying up late tired, and not really enjoying anything.

I'm both and it's weird. I can be up till 3 or 4 in the morning and yet still wake up before noon and be refreshed.

Night owl for sure. I would only be awake when the sun was down if it was up to me. So peaceful and quiet, plus I just love the dark for some reason.

I used to stay up till midnight, but I kept being tired in the morning

Now I aim to be in bed around 10, and the mornings are much easier now

So, transition period from owl to bird, atm

Nite owl by habit, morning bird by responsibility. I work early in the morning so my usual first alarm call is...4 a.m.

When really I'd rather be staying up until then, rather than GETTING up then.

Morning bird! It's easier to get homework done during the day, instead of fighting to stay awake and pumping out something horrible for school the next day.

I've been a night owl since the day I was born.

No, really. I had trouble throughout school because I couldn't stay up during the day, and I couldn't go to sleep at night. I still have that problem, actually...

Oh well. 'pologies.

I am a "what the fuck time is it wait no what day is it" featherbeast.
Scheduales are for wimps and people who do not have crippling sleep problems.

Ehhhh it depends. I don't get up *too* late, but then I don't really go to bed too late either. My sleep normally shifts into afternoon naps if I miss too much rather than taking it out of either the morning or night.
