What's that noise outside? It's a burglar, I know it, he's come to steal my homemade burgers. (Refrence away!) I look outside and it's just a stray cat fondling the christmas lights on the porch.

-_-

It could be an over-active imagination or i'm parnoid.
I think it's paranoid.

So Escapists, how paranoid are you? Heavily, mildly, what's your flavor?

A little bit, I investigate suspicious activity, I open carry, always scan the area around me. I chalk it up to caution more than paranoia but sometimes it's just a mite irrational.

Pretty heavily while online, hence the no real name given thing. In real life? Depends on the conditions. I'm not paranoid during the day but at night, walking alone in the street, one I mean I get a little nervous.

And of course immanent Z-day, the robot apocalypse and an invasion from killer ant people from beneath the Earth's crust cause me to fret too.

Who told you that?!

I'm not paranoid in the they're out to get me sense, but I do assume people are as aware of every action I take/thing I say in public, as I am aware of theirs... so paranoia through voyeurism I guess...

I'm pretty paranoid at night but thats a natural reaction for most people. I find holding something I could potentially use for defense helps. Usually that means my pocket knife if I am out in public (in my pocket most of the time not flicking it in the open :p) or one of my handguns around the house/property.

No I'm not paranoid. Why are you asking?! Who are you and why are you asking?! Where are you?!

In seriousness, yes I'm actually very paranoid. It might have to do with the fact that I'm also very insecure, but I always expect the worst out of every situation.

Yes, extremely

I know it's irrational, but I always feel like I'm being watched. Specifically, filmed. and not truman show style, like FBI tracking style.

I'm pretty sure it has a lot to due with the overbearing authoritative figure my mother instilled in me =/

When I am anywhere I always shift my eyes to watch (or check for) the shadows of people around me, just to be sure they don't try to jump me.

Yes, yes I think I am. Legitimately too, not like these people claiming the Government is out to get them because they;ve perfected a new yoghurt-breeding program or some nonsense.

Not really ever. I'm usually in my own little world all the time so I really don't ever get paranoid. Actually that's not true, as a kid I would get paranoid about stupid stuff like fire and bees but that's another story. Also tornadoes.

I'm generally quite calm/ignorant, but given certain circumstances, I open up all my senses and let my guard up, just in case, generally when I'm returning home from the gym at night.
