So, either Joker is still fucked up from his last encounter with Batman OR he's old and this will be some sort of Dark Knight Returns type story (though I doubt it).

Also, Arkham's Moved?

Thoughts?

Thoughts: Awesome and epic. What was that odd poster on the wall at 0.35 just before the lightning flash? I can't make it out. From Joker's level of laughter it looks like he's in some sort of control over proceedings with Arkham being located within Gotham now? Finally got the drop on Batman?

It most likely and probably is your first theory. And that is awesome, I'd like to know the plot of this game.

The poster appears to be Uncle Sam holding a gun. Also, the joker looks more like Heath Ledger, and hes hooked up to an IV. This can't take place that long after the first game...

EDIT: ok, studied the poster again. On the Uncle Sam, One hand is redder than the other, one side of his suit and hat is darker than the other, and the paper is ripped off at his face. so, its probably...

Looks like the Joker's still feeling the pinch from that dose of Titan he injected himself with at the end of the first game. I'm willing to bet he's suffering from some kind of sickness, or maybe withdrawal, as a result of it.

As for Arkham being moved, it looks like it's been moved back into the city, or at least off the solitary island where it used to be. I can't think of any reason they'd make a move like this, except maybe the fact that being so close to the city would also mean being close to the Gotham Police Department.

Here's hoping the game takes place over a couple of city blocks or something. Arkham Island was great, but I really want to hit the streets of Gotham using AA's incredible control scheme.

I thought the point was that something has occured and now Gotham City itself is the 'asylum'.

Personally I think this isn't a true Arkham. My theory; Joker has created some kind of base of operations in a part of Gotham and has named it Arkham Asylum: For the Criminally Hilarious or something like that.

I was hoping for Batman: Gotham City, but maybe this will be essentially the same thing. It's basically looks like it takes place in Gotham, or at least a part of it. I doubt it will be open world though, as I thought it might be, but there's nothing wrong with that.

Actually, I like this theory better. They can't keep the inmates contained with all the damage that's been done so they move them to a part of Gotham, with hilarious results (for Joker anyway).

I noticed that too. One side is darker and the darker side is holding a gun. It has to be two-face.

No big surprise. I was shocked he wasn't in AA.

Interesting, didn't expect to see anything regarding a sequel to AA so soon though. This is likely just a teaser. It does appear from this that they have shifted Arkham Asylum to the mainland and, if the trailer is anything to go buy, the inmates have managed to get loose again and are wreaking merry havoc in Gotham City itself this time.

That's certainly milking the success. It's been less than two monthes since Arkham Asylum came out, and they've already kicked out a trailer.

There's gotta be some record out there that's broken...

Getting the first for christmas, loved the demo and it looks great. A seqeul is good news...but I cant take place on Arkham AGAIN can it? Either is remodeled or thats just the series name. I would loved to see a free roam Batman game in Gotham.
I am also getting this game for Christmas and from what I've played at my mates, a sequel was not surprising, and to be honest, I'm glad there's gonna be one.

It looks like Joker has taken over Gotham's under-city. It also seems like he was residing in some sort of fun house/amusement park type thing. Me thinks the Dark Knight will get to stretch his wings in Gotham. HE HE HE!!!
