Arma II Operation Arrowhead Texture Issues

I recently bought Arma II Combined Ops to play DayZ but I can't play because none of the textures work, they always glitch out and end up like this:

Someone please help!

Arma II is plagued by visual glitches like that and you're pretty much never going to play for any substantial time without running into this at one time or another. There is something you can do which works a lot of the time: hold left shift then hit the top right minus key -, let go of shift and the minus key then type the word flush. If that doesn't work try playing with your video settings, perhaps trying again after the settings are changed.
