Hola y'all!

Well, from the posts I've seen in the past, I know that the Escapist has some talented gents and ladies.

So, here's your chance to show off, ya big lug!

[sub]Please keep it in a spoiler box, to keep the thread from exploding from awesome-ness.[/sub]

What? This is not just an excuse to be a show-boat!

I don't make art... I make, CARTOONS!

Here is my best Cartoon on Newgrounds (And the only one I have with a trophy);

The thread is really old though, and it's really easy for your art to get lost in the dozens of pages. It's similar to The Scary Thread in the fact that it keeps resurfacing and nobody seems to mind.

Here's one of mine that I like. A bit muggy, since my scanner isn't a very compatible one.

I've got another picture next to me that I've been meaning to scanned for almost a week. Maybe I'll finish it and upload it here later, but shading is such a chore.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there's already a massive thread where people can post their art and other creations.
[sub]Wow, it's been going since 2008 too.[/sub]
Ooh, I know. Monster threads can be intimidating and pretty much no one (unless they are super bored) is going to go through it.

There's one of these about...I don't know, every few months. :)

Every now and again I attempt to draw something.

Occasionally they turn out okay.

I mostly pretty crappy at that whole art thing. Occasionally I draw something that's not completely awful.

Though... there was one round of Draw Something that I was particularly proud of (not because of how good it is, but still). It's a shame I couldn't get a picture of it. The drawing was for Iron Chef and I drew Iron Man with an apron and a chef's hat. *sigh* Oh well.

I haven't drawn anything decent in a long while. I think my tablet might be broken.
I have a sketchbook, but its more a record of failed sketches than anything else.

So some of this stuff is pretty old
Oh and there's quite a few but they're all pretty small.

A piece I did for my drawing class last semester, I'm pretty proud of it. <3 All pastels.

I really need to draw some more before next semester starts... Get back into the groove so I don't have to get warmed up while working on assignments. XP

I also got a pretty swank sculpture... But that technically isn't a drawing so I'll save it. =P

For being a decent artist, I can't play that game worth crap. It asked me to draw Soy Sauce once, needless to say, I lost that round.

I made my avatar from this dragon head I drew, this is probably my most recent interesting thing...

I was just playing around with the pen tool and coloring in Illustrator (I usually use Photoshop), I like how it turned out.

Edit: Also because this is a game community...

I make music [http://giantraven.bandcamp.com/album/giantraven-i], if we're going to widen the art to beyond drawings and stuff (since I'm godawful at all that and posting anything I draw might be considered a genuine health hazard).

I'm also hopefully releasing an album this year with a friend with a bunch of chiptune/gameboy songs (my unfinished work for that is here [http://soundcloud.com/giantraven])

I mostly draw fanart - all my original creativity was sucked away from me by my overly-ambitious sister.

I have a deviantArt, but my stuff's just for entertainment. xD That'd probably explain why it looks cheaper compared to a lot of art that's already been posted both here and on the other thread. The way I see it, as long as I'm not TERRIBLE at drawing, I can afford to do so as a nice hobby~

Well, I enjoy doing pencil sketches, especially of video game characters

Not very original, but I enjoy doing it.

All this is making me feel inadequate at art. Just, I know I can never do stuff as good as you lot because I've never practised enough to be good at art. Yet, in a silly rush I picked art as one of my subjects for GCSE's, and I'm really starting to regret it and worry that I'll make a fool of myself.

In other terms, this is a very negative compliment to you all.

The paper texture makes the whole thing remind me of a Japanese painting, were you actually going for that effect?
If you weren't it's cool anyway. I like it.

I actually don't think I was - at the time. Now that you mention it, it DOES look like that style. :D Thanks for pointing that out, I never noticed before!

Hey, I just picked drawing up this year. Everyone has potential. Just gotta work at it, if its something you enjoy. I'm sure you'll do fine with your project
