...hours on end of searching the internet and asking xbl friends later, resort to posting a thread on a forum that's already seen it's fair share of Left dead threads (Left 4 threads?) in order to get a simple answer!
In advance, I am sorry for another one of these threads, but what with the escapist being an island of (slight) sanity in the confusing troll-faced mess that is the internet, this is really the only place I feel able to ask.
Basically, yesterday when I got home, I was shocked to find the sacrifice dlc undelayed and ready to download for 360. So shocked that I held off buying it, simply because it was too good to be true. From what I hear, it was, with the left 4 dead 2 version being glitched to hell. But reports are tangled. Some seem to suggest it's been fixed, with no specification of whether they mean the steam version or 360, or even the left 4 dead 1 version. Some say it's perfectly playable on single player, which defeats the point but then again I'm one of those simple minds who can happily blitz my way through on my own. And as for official word from valve...Hahahaha, that's a good one.
Exact point here: So can somebody tell me exactly what's going on here? The lure of new zombie goodness is tempting, but I simply wish to know whether I should just hold off until I get word that it's fixed. In the year three thousand and never.
