Hi,
As you lot will probably be aware, Steam is having their Summer sales at the moment and today's includes the Assassin's Creed games for:
1 = £3.39
2 = £5.09
Brotherhood = £14.99
All 3 = £16.99
Whilst at Uni I played a small amount of AC1 on my housemate's xbox 360 and found that the controls worked quite well and have been looking to get them since buying an xbox. Despite this, this offer's tempted me.
However, playing it with a controller felt right and it didn't really feel as though it would translate to the pc that well so I was wondering whether, in your opinion, the controls have translated well and it plays adequately on a pc? I do not have a controller and feel that going out and buying a wired xbox controller for £30 will negate the point in taking advantage of this deal.
Furthermore, I read with mild interest but not in depth the "issues" surrounding the 'always connected to the internet' aspect of AC2 (and I presume this has carried over to ACB). As with any new idea there were inevitable bugs that needed to be ironed out but how does this function today? My desktop has built in wireless and, barring extreme circumstances, is never not connected to the internet so there's no issue on my end.
Thanks in advance for the replies.
