Have fun watching, the game looks really awesome :p

Hopefully it has more replay value then the first one. The flying machine looks kinda gay. :/

What do you guys think?

/facepalm

Search bar for the love of Gaz! There must be 20 L4D2 threads and the same amount of AC2. All with the same link, all the same!

Hm, it does seem to play exactly the same as the original, with a few minor addition's. And I already experienced that gameplay 8 or 9 times in the first game..

It is nice how they brought da vinci into it to bring new concepts to the game with out it coming out of no where.

Hmm I thought the Da Vinci thing was slightly cheesy, but it will probably work :3 I have high hopes for this game :D

Things I'm not too chuffed about:

The game in essence looks like it plays pretty much the same.

The assassin looks like the first one but with a side cape.

Doesn't seem to be much freedom for where you can go with the glider, but that might just be for the sake of having a short demo.

Things I'm impressed with:

Double hidden blade, need I say more?

Combat and assassination techniques have been pollished and it shows.

From what I can tell from that one assassination, dialogue has been cut down after the death or it's at LAST skippable.

the Italian Rennosance(I know I spelt that wrong) is a beautiful era in time.

The assassin can finally SWIM.

Hiding has been made more difficult with soliders that actually LOOK in the hiding spots.

Disarming soldiers, at long last.

To be honest, for a game that even though it looks like it's offering more of the same, seems to be shaping up with more pros then cons...

OK, to describe my feelings of this game, let me just say that I almost came watching the live conference. Ok, maybe not to that extent, but I found it to be the pinnacle of awesomeness! I really look forward to it, since I loved the first one. Also, how can the flying machine be gay? Does it engage in sexual intercourse with other machines of the same sex? o_0

I like the fact that Ezio is not an assassin from the start and can watch the character develop into one. That should be fun.

I like the first game so if it's just a slightly polished version of it ill be happy :3

Yawn, the first AC looked amazing, and looked even better when it was being shown in demo. A city where you can go anywhere, hunt and stalk targets attack and kill them and then escape. The you played it found that you had to complete several tasks which consisted of three different types of mission and these mission types would be used every time you wanted to get new info for your next target.

You then finally you got your first target, you stalked your way to the target found a nice point to do what a proper assassin would do and then jumped in. At which point it went to a cut sequence and then you had to end up fighting several guards and then the target.

It failed majorily in giving the impression of freedom of choice, freedom to approach the assassination as you wished and then at the last minute it would slap you with a cut sequence that would totally destroy any chance of leaping from the top of a building, knifing the target and then leaping out again. You could just walk up to the target and get the same result.

Oh and the demo of AC shows yet again that the developers have failed to grasp that giving someone freedom means they may want to chose how they approach a mission but as the guy doing the demo said 'the only way to reach the target is via the glider / flying thing'

Not excited about this one as all the demo seems to be showing is more choice being ham strung by having to follow exact routes to complete the assassination.

If it exists, there is porn of it. No exceptions.

Rule #34 of the internet.

Hmm about the choice of gameplay, I don't mind that it is that linear, I just hope we dont have to do the same tedious tasks over and over ¬_¬

Gay also means happy, but since machines arent known to have feelings I do think he meant "bad" gay - the one homophobes use.

Yeah looks pretty nice me thinks gameplay will be funner but look what a "more stuff" game can do to sequels - Fable is a perfect example...

There was some chance to kill targets like an assassin.
I remember once where i planned out and killed my target perfectly. The target on the boat in Acre, i jumped across the water, onto the side of the boat and threw two ninja stars(?) to kill the guard and just waltzed up and knifed my target.

My friend killed the same guy by assassinating a beggar to distract the guards while he stabbed the target.

I'm not trying to contradict you but I'm saying that out of all the targets, i could only kill one like an assassin.

There were very very few chances where you really could assassinate a target instead of hack and slash your way.

My dream for Assassin Creed 2 is that it will be a game from the Hitman Genre set in the middle ages where you start a mission and gather information about guard positions etc by exploring the area and where your choice of assassination methods, hidden blade, poison, booby trap or good old fashioned run in and kill everything.

Man i really need Hitman 5
