So, out of sheer boredom I decided to learn Krav Maga over the internet... utterly failing that I then, for some reason decided to workout. Which then led to me jogging in place for about an hour and a half; and I gotta say, I had no idea how good of a workout that is, if you get really into it. My heart was pumping pretty fast afterwards.

So, anyway, this leads to my question and the topic at hand. Do any of my fellow escapists have any at home excercises that they do when bored? It could even be part of an at home workout program... basically just share your at home excercise tales, if any are available to be shared.

I do yoga in my room when I feel like I should do a quick work out.

I go to regular yoga classes anyway, but I still like doing it whenever I'm in the mood.

The only workout I do is run for 1-2 hours every morning. Either before or after work, depending on how well I sleep.

I do sit-ups before bed just to tire myself out. And me, my mum and my sister all do yoga together when my dad and brother aren't home to tease us. We just follow these videos; it's pretty relaxing and not too challenging. I also like doing yoga before bed. As with the sit-ups, it makes me tired, and I always finish by relaxing and concentrating on my breathing. Very effective for falling asleep.

And what do you know, I tried learning Krav Maga online as well! It didn't work.

I've got a workout *thing* that's going pretty well. I do it in my basement between my sessions of rooftop tanning during the hotter portion of the day, and it involves a painful set of situps, crunches and plank rests and then a 30 minute run, usually outside during the hottest part of the day. I end up doing this about 4 times a week, depending on which days I end up playing some soccer, and I have yet to see any results at all. I'm guessing that it's coming soon though.

I originally did this because of my cardio, which is so bad that I commonly get tingling and numbness in my arms and get headrushes almost every time I get up. Though thankfully, my heart rate monitor's telling me that my heart's getting stronger and more efficient, which means that I'll be all ready to get back out of shape come November.
