Australia Day! What are you all doing?

I realise that many of my fellow Escapists are not from this great brown land called Australia, but it's a national holiday here and I'm curious as to what you are all doing.

I myself am sitting quietly at home, having palmed the missus off onto her family so that they can all go and watch the fireworks together later. I've just cracked my first beer for the day and will probably play some Darksiders and Bayonetta before (maybe) going to a friends place around the corner for a swim in their pool.

However, it's the month before my first year of Uni, and our family has moved up to a tiny town, while all my friends are 3 hours away.
While I'm going to see them practically every second week (for a week), this week is not the case. As such, until the fireworks? Just pottering about on the internet. Fun. :S

I went in a fun run earlier this morning and am seriously considering going for a swim thanks to this heat. Apart from that I'm simply trying to make the most of my last two weeks of freedom before the gaping maw that is school swallows me whole again.
