Early next year, here in Australia we receive the long awaited R18 rating. What is the worst censorship in your countries? L4D2 and MK9 were noted, but things go under the radar. ( Walking Dead)
Postal 2. Doing drugs for health boosts, using cats as silencers on shotguns, crazy terrorists and pissing on people until they vomit. Good times. Don't know why it was banned tbh.
German censorship: strange, to say the least. The PEGI 18+ is effectively two categories - let's take L4D as an example. The game on the shelf is 18+, has no exploding heads or flying limbs and zombies disappear immediately, sometimes even before hitting ground. The game from under the counter is the real thing and can freely be sold (asked for) but must not be displayed for minors to become aware of. Some stuff like Manhunt is outright forbidden.
The worst censorship: the localization of C&C Generals was pretty hilarious and got famous for it - its own wikipadia entry / more detail
IFCO banned Manhunt 2. IFCO almost never reviews games so it was really wierd. Manhunt is now allowed and has an IFCO rating of 18. Other than that no games have been banned or cencored in Ireland AFAIK.
