I don't usually remember people's avatars, but Gxas, Furburt and Onyx Oblivion have some cool ones. And I really like the usual avatars of Sky14kemea as well, despite not having ever seen Lucky Star.

Also, I feel like giving a special mention to 001648. However, I'm somewhat biased as I made his avatar for him myself as a desktop background...

I didn't spend 5 minutes just staring at it when I first saw it. Hub's and Furb's are good as is Lambi's avy.
