AGDQ started up today. It's a week long speed-running marathon raising money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

Currently, they're beating Devil May Cry in about an hour.

Just thought you should know.

Day and a half in and they're up to about $275,000 for charity. Also running through Ninja Gaiden and Ninja Gaiden 2 without killing anything except bosses.

Sometimes I hate these people. [/sarcasm]

Two and a half days in and the AGDQ folks are up to ~$440,000 and are about halfway through their play through of the original Final Fantasy. And by "half-way", I mean two hours in.

Of a game that took me twenty hours.

Butz the fighter is having a bad day.

Starting off day 4 of AGDQ with them around $600,000 of donations during the mid-event slump. Expect those to start ratcheting up again soon, just like a Kickstarter would.

Had a few personal bests and world record runs last night during the Aweful Games Don Quick block. I recommend watching the Rocky and Bullwinkle run, along with the NES Nightmare on Elm Street 4 player run. Yes, that's right: a four player simultaneous platformer on the original Nintendo Entertainment System. I want to say that got a world record run.

Just watched a dude play three player co-op by himself beating Grief Syndrome in under twenty minutes.

As far as I could tell, he still only has the one set of hands. AGDQ is up to ~$775,000.

Starting in on the last day of AGDQ at around $950,000. Given their lineup for today they've got a good chance of breaking their donation record.

Sadly, I'm going to miss most of it due to being pulled into work, but you hosers should check it out.

If you want to donate but don't have the scratch, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. Prime comes with a free Twitch subscription, which would give $2.50 to AGDQ if you use it on their channel.

So Awesome Games Done Quick 2017 finishes up just north of a record breaking $2.2 million with a great 100% Pacifist Undertale run in just under 90 minutes.

This event brings the total donations for AGDQ to above $10 million.
