I'm quite the fan of cheesy acting, especially the hilariously bad stuff in videogames. From dreadful acting to badly written dialogue, tell what you're favourite ham fisted moment of clumsy narration was. Argh, that general guy from Dawn of War: Soulstorm expansion. You know "SPESS MEHREENS! The enemy is at our door!" Guy. That's gonna bug me.

Amazingly bad voice acting, so awesome.

And most Bioware games have moments of this. My personal favourite is "Sneaking into the captain's quarters. Heavy risk... But the priiiiizzze"

Fuck, Jacob that was so good it almost made up for your boring ass character.

Oh and Snake from MGS needs a mention. His voice is so epicly rugged. "My name's Solid Snake. Ugh, Metal Gear..."

Killzone has some fantastically hammy villains.

Nothing can beat the Hamminess of Koei's games, they truly understand the Art of Ham.

I think my favourite line from the entire series is the epicness at 0:24 - "Feel the power of my maaagiic!".


Bladestorm has some great bad voice acting, it's nice to hear bad English voice acting in a multitude of authentic accents and dialects.

I was going to offer Sengoku Basara 3 as a fantastic example. Like so.


The best thing is, both the English and Japanese casts have the same level of incredible ham...and I actually prefer the English cast. There's so much ham, I think Johnny Yong Bosch, Reuben Langdon, Liam O'brien, and Vic Mignogna are officially banned from visiting the Middle East.
