I guess the title is kind of misleading, what I am curious about is do you, the escapist forum crawlers, think about the world we live in in form of responsibilities. What I mean exactly is do you think that people are to reliant on other sources babysit them. Where I am from a new law just past that made bartenders responsible if someone drunk leaves their bar and does something stupid while outside the property. This just seems ridiculous to me, they are grown adults they should be responsible for there own actions.

Same with this suing issue, everyone can be sued for anything now, like you spill coffee on yourself, it was hot, you sue the company... WHY WOULD THIS HOLD UP IN ANY COURT if you order coffee you know its hot and if you are retarded enough to spill coffee on yourself you deserve to burn and have people laugh at you.

Finally television, I still do not understand why shows must meet every moral standard and must make everyone happy if they want to air. Like kids shows cannot show blood, cannot have people die, cannot swear, cannot do anything mild sexually, and if they do someone is sued. Parents should be there with there children stopping them from watching something they feel is inappropriate. The tv is not a babysitter it is tool for entertainment and if you don't like something shut it off. ( yes i got this point from that south park episode :p)

Anyways these are just some examples of what I mean. So do you think this new attitude that "it is everyone else fault that something went wrong, SUE THEM!" is a good or bad thing for society?
