So I recent found out about a few projects that rare was working on for the Gamecube before they got bought out my Microsoft. As the title would suggest, they had projects for both a banjo 3, and even a conker 2 "conker's other bad fur day: getting medieval". We obviously all know the story, Rare gets purchased by Microsoft, they remake conker with multiplayer and kickass graphics (best graphics of any game of that generation, imo), and then we end up getting nuts and bolts on the 360, and rare goes to shit. I cant try to make sense of what goes on at Microsoft, but I do know what would be a great idea.
MS seems to want to allow the xbox to also be for littler kids as well, as we saw at e3; and the Banjo games were a great example of intelligent but kid-friendly adventure games; precisely what MS wants here. Bringing back Rare to work on what they do best, for the 360 seems a great move to me. They could even optimize them to run on windows phone 7 and for Intel integrated chips, so even those kids without home consoles or gaming pc's can play these games.
So; good idea, bad idea? Tell me what you guys think.
