Soon as in 2 day from now according to official sources.

Also here's a snippet from the movie itself which is one of the new scenes added that was not in the source material:

The art style looks like a seemless fusion of Brian Bollands Art from the comic combined with the art from the Batman Animated Series, and I like it.

And Kevin Conroy must ALWAYS BE BATMAN!!!!

Now I can't wait to see the Joker since this is technically his movie.

I've seen a certain part of the movie in gif form on imgur and since I don't know how to spoiler warning something on here, I'll just say it has the possibility to be controversial for some (leftist) people, who maybe jump to conclusions.

Actually I changed my mind, I do know how to spoiler lock something. Don't look unless you want this ruined.

Batgirl and Batman sexing on a rooftop, with the point of contention being their, depending on the writer, decade to three decade age difference... As if old men and young women isn't a thing that exists in real life. I've seen comments equating the scene to Batman raping Batgirl even though she's literally the instigator in the scene.

Whatever, I'm more of a Superman fan anyways!

Eh, I'm not sure anymore. I always found the whole BatGirl/Batman thing creepy as fuck. I mean she's what, 14 or 15 when she starts training? And he's her mentor and whatever. Real imbalance of power.

I dunno. I always thought Batman was supposed to be better than that, at least the animated one. And of course this will add an unnecessary angsty spin to an already angsty as fuck story.

Also Dick/Barbara is like the only DC ship I actually care about.

Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for The Killing Joke, and I'm happy that people are reprising their roles.

But what I really want to see? A live action Killing Joke movie. If not for Jared Leto[footnote]not because he sucks, which I don't think he does, he's been putting a lot of effort into SS. It's just because his Joker seems clearly different to the Killing Joke Joker.[/footnote] and David Goyer's changes, I wouldn't mind seeing it in the same style as the DC cinematic universe. I'd definitely love to see it with Ben Affleck as Batman.
No animation is superior to Live Action. Its impossible to get a Joker actor that looks like this:

I think the only advantage of 2D animation is that it's easier to cast voice than face and voice. When you start seeing the looping animations and completely still frames, it's hard to unsee.

Besides, when people are able to make themselves look like this:

It shows that it's not impossible to get a good Joker.
Name one time in the DCAU that you saw Looping Animations?

Every single cartoon. I'm not attacking animation. Just pay close attention when you watch. They always have to cut a lot of corners on a lot of the animation to save time and budget for the key moments.

If ever you see any kind of repeated motion, it's going to be a looped animation. It's done in games and 3D animations too. It's no crime, and if anything, it's required. Doesn't stop it from looking unnatural though. If ever you do something repeatedly in real life, you never do the EXACT same motion repeatedly, do you?
So long as its not too noticable, I mean I can mention worse examples. Pokemon, how many times in the show did they recycle the exact same attack animation in the cartoons. I have seen Pikachu swing his tail to shoot out stars with the exact same movements, and don't get me started on when trainers announce the orders of a Pokemon's move with the exact same still.

But in the DCAU I rarely notice any animation that felt recycled and looped.

Well I mean yeah, some animations are worse quality than others. And I'm going to watch The Killing Joke and probably thoroughly enjoy it. But I'd still love to see a live action Killing Joke movie, because I prefer live action over 2D movies.
ITs that preference is why animation will never leave its Ghetto :(
