Hi, just wanted to point out this kickstarter for a game based on one of my favorite comic book series from 15 years ago. Also it's being done by some of the same people behind the darksiders games. It's a little last minute before it closes so apologizes for not giving more notice to anyone interested in it. I think it will be great once it's out. Link posted below. Cheers.

I wont back it because I don't believe, much like the comic, that it will ever be finished.

These days I'll only get a Joe Madureira product when it is complete.

The guy literally bailed on his previous project to work on video games.

Seems like this is the very definition of a risky venture for backers. Then again, after dumping 125 dollars on a Legendary founder pack to help Mechwarrior Online get off the ground, and then quitting that game way before getting even 20 dollars of fun out of it, I turn around a couple years later and dump 125 dollars (Thinking about bumping it to 275 because I'm a stone dead moron) on a Battletech kickstarter.

So who's the moron here?

Also, Darksiders was terrible.

YOU TAKE THAT BACK!!!

J/K, I did like Darksiders, but I know nothing about Battlechasers except that:
A: apparently everyone loved it, but issues would come out at completely random times.
B: Red Monika is the most "you have got to be kidding me" comic woman I've ever seen (though admittedly this comes from someone who doesn't read comics much).

And apparently it's been funded. I imagine about $500,000 of this will be to get Red Monika's jiggle physics down perfectly.

Sorry, but I have to lock this thread and direct you to the CoC; the forums aren't the appropriate place to drop links to Kickstarters. You have to add more discussion value to the thread or it just counts as advertising, but you're free to leave Kickstarter or YouTube links on your profile page.

Looks like it was funded, though, so good for them!
