Okay, so it's not called Horses, but it may as well be the title of the video.

I like what I see so far, except maybe the confirmation of hero classes. Not sure how such a mechanic can ever work in an online game against real people.

I always liked the chaotic, ever-changing nature of Battlefield multiplayer, even though am a little unskilled (crap) at it. This looks to keep the same tone. Also quite pretty looking.

AAAh yes the good old armoured minigun soldier.
I see they really meant it when they said they want to make it realistic. They must have an army of historians in their team.

DICE/EA never said that. Term they have been using all the time with every BF title has been authentic. Meaning that everything you see in the game is based on real things, but DICE can change them in the name of gameplay/balance/fun.

Couldn't get a good look at it, but it looks like it might be a Vickers machine gun or something equivalent. So yeah, a tripod mounted (single-barrel) gun weighing in at some 50 pounds and normally crewed by 3 men. Good news is that if you could solves problems like being able to lug it around by yourself, feeding it ammo and replacing barrels and coolant, then you'd be set because Vickers guns were known for being very reliable.

Also noticed some quant oddities like dudes wielding submachine guns/assault rifles and WWI tanks seemingly really booking it instead of being readily outpaced by a guy on a bycycle.

Then again, I never expected Battlefield 1 to actually be an accurate representation of WWI.

In BeFore the inevitable downgrade!

Really, it some scenes you can definitely see it. The cinematic filters are more apparent in some scenes than others.

It's still definitely one of the better looking games on the horizon, but I don't expect that film-like look to hold up in final gameplay.

It's MG 08/15 and you can walking hipfire it if you're a badass:

Had a better look at it on a bigger screen and I think you're probably right. And badass would be the word to describe someone who can hipfire one of those while wearing bulletbroof plate armor and apparently still being able to hold the gun steady enough to hit something.

From the gameplay I have seen on PC, I really don't think a downgrade is something we need to worry about. The console versions will obviously not look like this, but even a graphically downgraded version of BF1 would be nice to look at.
