Battlefield 3: What would you like to see in upcoming DLC?

After reading about the BF2 themed Back to Karkand pack and how much more they are planning, I wondered what else DICE will do and what other people would like to see.

Personally, a BF2142 styled DLC pack would appeal greatly to me. BF2142 was the first battlefield game I played, which also got me into online gaming. I'd love it even more should it include Titan mode.

So what about you, Escapists? What would you want in any of the new DLC when it's released?

Onslaught mode i rekon i really want to play dat mode

but i would love to see a map based on Advancing to the Eiffel Tower and the last stage you fight on the Tower.

OR i wanna fight on MOVING TRAINS

Well, I would love the following:

- A 1942 themed expansion pack -- similar to what DICE did with the Vietnam expansion for BF:BC2.

- A 2142 themed pack.

- Special Forces?

- Teams representing other armed forces? EU, China, India, Australia (see BF2 AU forces mod), Israel?

- Adaptions of other classic maps?

- A map pack with more emphasis on height elevation, snow landscapes, jungle terrain, and island hopping amphibious and naval warfare.

I think those would be wicked cool.

DLC-wise: some new maps. Of course. But I also have come to expect even more from DICE in their DLC, so: new maps, weapons, vehicles, and gadgets. Oh Special Forces, how I loved you.

Patch-wise: A better looking Commo Rose with more options (haven't ACTUALLY played, I admit, but the pictures looked pretty.. empty). *Massive Deletion of Ranting and Raving about things that need to go away/ come back*

Simple. a 2142 game in a similar setup as BFBC2: Vietnam so a BF3:2142.

Haven't gotten around BF3 yet but a map set in Dubai would be awesome. Instead of the usual US vs Russia, we should have GCC countries vs Iran. I would love to blow Burj Khalifa to smithereens. XD

More co-op missions would be sweet.

They're fun, prepare you for multiplayer (especially the chopper mission), and you unlock guns to use in multiplayer.

I am currently trying to get all of them and playing through them over and over again is starting to get boring.

If possible I would throw money at DICE. With this game they have gone beyond the call of duty.

BFBC2's White Pass re-done for BF3.
Tons of new weapons; I don't really care which because I know DICE will input good ones, but I have one request: a Desert Eagle. With the detail DICE put into the guns... It'd just feel so good to use.
A Vietnam-esque expansion pack, and I don't mind if it's WW2 or 'Nam again'.

Also, a way to choose your guns' camo... I've unlocked about 4 and I can't find out where I go to change to one I want.

Before they do anything with DLC, I'd like them to fix the damn squad/matchmaking system. I've had enough of going through 4/5 servers and having to back out 'cause half of my squad is on the opposite team for some reason...

The whole BadCompany1 story. I still play it on my 360 from time to time because its so funny.

Naval fights. Jet fighters deploying from Carriers, destroyers and battleships duking it out whilst both come under fire from the fighters, it would be awesome to have.

Other than that, Spec Ops like the BF2 expansion, more races then just Russian and American. I mean, come on! BF2 vanilla had US, MEC and China, then the Spec Ops expansion added in Britain, Russia, Insurgents and Rebels. I'd love to see some others out there, more than just the US. They aren't the only ones with a military you know. I'd like to see an ANZAC mission done on the Gallipoli Peninsula. That would strike a chord with me, and a few other Aussies/New Zealanders too I'd think. Though, I'd HATE to see what they'd do to our accents...

More maps would be nice, but not remakes of old ones. I think they picked the right ones to remake, I want some new ones focusing on even more differing playstyles.

A Titan style thing would be nice as well, though I question how they'd do it without going into the future, something I'd say 2143 should be made for (Hint Hint EA, MAKE IT).

And yeah, that'd be about it.

More maps with a non-linear progression in rush. Don't get me wrong, I love the maps so far. But one of the most epic moments in Rush is the Davrond Peak - second MCOM, and leaping and entire squad off the mountain. Love it every time. More like this would be awesome.


Maybe a fight on a ship as well - MCOM's placed at strategic locations, and lots of CQB.

I'd like to see some snow themed Large Conquest maps. I love me some Large Conquest.
