stumbled across this today and it seems like there are gonna be a lot of pissed off PC players. the article said that the problem was the dedicated servers. seems kinda funny that the dedicated servers all the PC players are complaining that a lot of games dont have are the reason that they are missing out on an awesome new bit of Bad company goodness.

This actually makes me glad I have BFBC 2 for the 360. I never thought anything could do that.

Also, what's this about a new game mode? Onslaught? What? Why haven't I heard about this?

im just glad i got it for the 360. and im assuming that onslaught will be something like firefight from ODST or horde from Gears 2

"Players are asked to complete specific objectives in each map, with enemy AI attempting to prevent those goals. For example, the announcement specifies that "Vehicle warfare comes to the forefront in Atacama Desert while Nelson Bay focuses squarely on infantry assault."

Sounds awesome, but they're worried that the 4 man teams will mean that a HELL of a lot of player slots would be lost by the dedicated servers running them. Not a problem with the console quick-match system, but would mean not enough server slots for PC gamers if too many of the current 32 man servers switched over to the 4 man onslaught servers :/

Sux to be a PC... rarely do I have to say that :'(
